CAUTION: Compu Pool Products, Nerang QLD.

READ others REVIEWS on this company BEFORE BUYING ANY COMPU POOL PRODUCTS.
No receipt given or offered to me when I dropped off my compuchlor machine for the “free assessment” he told me over phone.
No call after he said he would call in two days with result. A week later still no call so I called him. but my calls went unanswered no matter which department I selected - unless I selected the sales department. He told me it needs a power pack replacement and would be $110 more than price he quoted me two weeks earlier, to replace whole same machine. There was no mistaking what I got priced for but when I questioned him with price change and no answering phones and my concern for customer support if I buy off him, he accused me of getting it all wrong that it must be another item I got priced for and when I clarified, no, I actually KNOW what I was asking for, he then bluntly asked if I just called to complain. Charming - not! What he didn’t know was that despite already having experienced his bad attitude, I had already decided before I called him that I would just buy another of same chlorinater, from him that morning. It was NEVER a warranty request in any way shape or form despite someone saying so in a fb page. I wanted his opinion being the manufacturer, if it was repairable at all, rather than cost of a full replacement, if at all possible.
After a week of waiting,I felt silly for even hoping on a possible repair at smaller cost, as it was obviously quite old, from previous owners. However his arrogant attitude and changing prices and not answering phones or calling back made me concerned enough to query.
I asked him again, giving him another opportunity to save the sale, asking for clarification because I’m obviously in the market for a new machine and I’m wanting to be sure I’m buying from a reputable company that gives a dam about providing its customer’s support. He said it was 15 yrs old and he didn’t know what more I wanted and didn’t like my attitude and hung up on me before I could advise him I was happy to buy new anyway There goes that plan of buying from him then I thought! Weird way to run a business!

I checked up and seen others had written reviews with similar experiences of his bad attitude so I wrote a review on fb to caution others to read those reviews and he then calls me threatening me and saying it will now cost $66 for the assessment and I should come pick up my machine and that my fb post is being removed and I was going to be blocked. Seems the fb page is run by his friends in the industry who didnt care to ask about truth, or give any explanation to me at all, and blocked me. Clearly they fully support and enable this guys bad antics. Shame!

What a shocking company with no customer service or moral values. They are rude, arrogant and should not be allowed to be in business. I bought a salt cell in December and by March it had failed. I was advised it was because I plugged it into my existing chlorinator system without replacing leads. The product I purchased was a replacement cell that is supposed to plug into existing leads. The guy I spoke to was adamant had I not plugged it into my existing system it would not have failed… what sort of B S excuse is that not to honour a 6 year warranty. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS OULET.

The warranty is worthless. After 2 years they prorata on the full RRP which is higher than a genuine cell. You can get a new one for less from their retailers on what they charge for the warranty replacement. Don't buy these for their warranty. I called them and they don't care.

I was ripped off. I purchased a replacement cell for $249.00 through Tropical Pool Store and when it went dead in the water under three years into its six year warranty, was advised to return it to Compu Pool at Nerang which I did. I had to contact them a week later to find out that the cell was definitely dead, and that they would give me a 50% discount per pro rata. I then received an invoice for $235.00 which is definitely not 50% of $249.00. When I questioned them about this I was advised that the charge for replacement was on the recommended retail price which makes the cheap looking generic brand $470.00
I have looked at the genuine Zodiac replacement cells at numerous suppliers and they all come in at $310-320.
Unfortunately I read all of the reviews after purchase. Do not have any dealings with this company if you value your money. Stay away from Tropical Pool World and Compu Pool, Nerang.

We are in a terrible catch 22 situation where the company who service our pool said that they contacted CompuPool, who in turn said they would contact us. We've waited over a week so I tried calling CompuPool today.

Spoke with the Warrenty Department at 11:35am who said they would call me back. No response, so called 3:30pm. Was kept on hold for 43 minutes!! I had to hang up as not sure if they had just left me, gone home. So called back. Another 40 minutes waiting to get through to anyone!! Gave up in the end.

Really bad response and attitude to customers.

In the meantime, our pool is returning to its green status!

Thank you

Allyson

We need a new circuit breaker for our chlorinator and my husband needs me to pick up the circuit breaker from Compu Pool Products pool shop. Clint was really helpful today. He was polite and quick with his service. I bought the circuit breaker for AUD14.00 and they have the best deal for the product. I have a good customer service experience. Would love to recommend this shop.

Approximate cost: $14.00
