$65 weekday buffet.
I have nothing to raise in terms of service, food quality, buffet variety and surroundings etc... it was all to a good standard - as one would expect of a resident restaurant in Crown Towers.
However, this place is really only worth going to (note the price tag) if you have an appetite for seafood.

Breakfast for a special occasion. Absolutely fabulous. Exactly what you would expect from this sort of establishment. Excellent food and great service.

buffet at its best. have been a couple of times and will definitely continue. $50 will get you a smorgasbord of just about anything you could ask for from high quality seafood, meats, salads to sushi. delicious food which is tastefully presented. ambiance is relaxing and service is great too. note this is including in entertainment book.

Had a really nice meal here for a family engagement. We all had the smorgasbord Buffet. As far as smorgasbords go, i generally try to stay away but this one is an exception.
The food is great, there are sections that the Chefs will whip up a dish for you and the area is clean and has a sense of class.

If you love seafood and many other cuisines and can part with $50, give this place a go.

Wonderful food great presentation of food,,,, and teh four storey chocolate fountain ,,, WOW,, pardon the pun,, i took my 2 teenage boys there and boy did i get great value for money with the lunch smorgasbord,,,,,, then i went back again and took my tow girls,, they OD eeed on the chocolate smoked salmon,, well worth a special treat day

Wow! As far as buffets go, this is a long way away from the local RSL. The food is amazing. A good range of seafood, roasts and salads. All very fresh and delicious. Desserts are also fab. Would highly recommend. The buffet is quite reasonably priced - they compensate for this though by charging through the nose for drinks.

I love going to Conservatory in Crown (when I have lots of money to spend). I love their buffet because they have nice prawns, oysters, salmon etc. Their smoked salmon is very very tasty and addicting. They have a wide range of desserts too. A little bit expensive though. I would be broke if I go there every weekends.

Absoultely lovely. We had our wedding dinner here and it was lovely. We requested the best seat in the house and it delieved. The seaford was amazing.. really fresh and tasty. Great to recieve a washing bowl aswell..
I would really like to see more chicken dishes, i was a little disappointed about the amount of salad.. which was the same dishes just done with different sauces.
The ice cream tubs always seem empty and dont get topped up enough.. However extremely happy and full everytime we leave.

The Crown Conservatory was a fabulous place to have breakfast. A full buffet for around $33 gave you a myriad of culinary options such as cereals, breads, pastries, fruit, cooked pancakes, eggs, bacon, mushrooms - you name it, it was there. The view looking out to the Yarra River was equally as great. Highly recommend it.

The Conservatory at Crown is a really nice place for a buffet breakfast or a Sunday afternoon 'tiffin'. Bookings are essential and arrive early if you want a window view. The service is excellent (which you pay for - it's not cheap!). Food is quality and there's lots to choose from. We have been here a few times for special occasions. I will definately go back.
