Great cakes in a weird location. Not sure why the owners chose this place when barkly st is just around the corner. There cakes are the best but it's almost impossible to park safely or you're having to walk a mile to get there after parking at the train station (if you can get a park). But if you love your sweets, this is the place

These cupcakes are amazing. The quality is 5 star. We have ordered these for our annual awards night for the past 5 years and the quality has never faltered. They actually have taste and are presented wonderful. I cant wait to place an order for my wedding!

They are so tasty and look fantastic, someone below said "works of art" and I completely agree with that!

Parking CAN be an issue, but if you go early enough it's fine.

In a word AMAZING! The cupcakes at Paulos are simply a work of art - i almost feel bad eating them but sometimes its good to be naughty! The cupcakes are always moist and together with a latte, its just heaven (despite the location... i agree with the previous review, the location does suck given the lack of parking but don't let this deter you!)

My fave is their red velvet :)

The cakes are like little works of art you can eat. Shame about the terrible location. This tiny shop is in Ashley Street with trucks pounding past and no place to park. The little table and chairs they have outside where you can eat your cake and have coffee can be so noisy and dusty from the passing traffic.

But the cakes are just magic - so many flavours and the decorations are perfect. They take orders for birthdays and do weddings and events with picture icing etc.

You can't stop at just one ...

This place is yummy. It was my number one craving when i was pregnant. They are super fresh and i will be going back for more when i am in the area next!

Have to say - this is actually one of my guilty pleasures - I love this place & I mean LOVE! This little shop is the kind you would normally associate with the inner city & funky northern suburbs like Carlton & Camberwell, certainly not one you would be likely to stumble across out west where the pickings can be slim but this place is Amazing!
Paolo makes the most amazing cupcakes you have ever tasted, with flavours like 'cloud nine', jaffa & pavlova passion (as well as like 20 more!) they are baked to perfection. The cake is beautifully moist & the icing to die for.
If you're looking for a tasty treat or a gift for someone special then I totally recommend you check this place out (they even make Giant Cupcakes!)
