Great for the whole family. Wife and I loved it as did the kids. Lots of wildlife and grounds kept well and nice and fresh. Good location and not too big to walk around so our toddler didn't need pram. We went to the beach after. Good day out. Look on scoopon for GREAT deals.

Approximate cost: $10

Can't go wrong here. Great place for the kids. Recommend if it's a hot day, you can wander around under the cool shade of the trees in this sanctuary. Staff are friendly and helpful. Look out for online vouchers to get in cheaper else it's about $40 for adults (not sure for kids). Make sure you are organised and arrive at the shows early to get a good seat. The bird show is great and very informative.

Always a great day out... The displays and surrounds are kept fresh and up-to-date, the bird-feeding always a hit with visitors. Prices for food on-site are prohibitive, but we just bring our own.

If your in queensland you would have to visit here, or you will be missing out. Great day out for the whole family. Plenty to see and do and my highlight was all the birds landing on me.

Have been going to this place for years, don't get there as much as I would like to due to distance. I just prefer it as its not as commercial as the other Parks. There are acres of natural bush land but we always jump on the little train which takes us right to the far end of the park and we slowly work our way back. The eagle show is amazing and the kids always head to the bilbies. There are rosellas everywhere at the entrance and you can get piccys of your body full of birds. Plus you can cuddle a koala. We always get there early in time for their morning breakfast which is always a treat in a natural environment. Beautiful day out with the kids but try and get local vouchers to get in for cheap ..

Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary has lots of different animals to observe and interact with. You can hold a koala and have your photo taken for $20, there is also an opportunity to hold a baby crocodile and have your photo taken too. The eels were fascinating to watch and we loved hand feeding the kangaroos. It was interesting to see and learn about the animal hospital.

I would strongly recommend taking the miniature train ride through the park as the steep walking paths get very tiresome after a while! The footpaths were wide but in parts the shrubbery was a little overgrown and the garden areas not as maintained as they could be.

There were lots of different volunteers throughout the various sections of the park, who were all friendly and very knowledgeable about the animals.

The entry fee is expensive if you don't have a voucher - we had one that gave us 4 adults entry for just $80. If we didn't have that voucher it would have cost us approx $200 which I don't believe is worth it considering there are many other fauna parks and gardens with much cheaper entry charges. Additionally, the food and beverage charges were a bit over the top at $4.50 for a can of soft drink.

Approximate cost: $80

I love going to Currumbin. 5 minutes from the end of the motorway. It's so peaceful and relaxing just to wander round. Kangaroos are always up for a pat if they're not hungry. Our greatest thrill seems to be finding the different birds that are calling. I had a lovely day there yesterdaywith my 10 year old daughter. There's some healthy food in the cafe, too and they're no trying to push the souvenirs on you. We were lucky that we had heaps of lorikeets after all the rain
