We took our kids there with the special discount (adult for kids prices) and they had a great time there. They loved the kangaroo petting / feeding, and I think they might've overfed some of the kangaroos! There is also a lovely playground for little ones to run around and climb. Not great choices for food but you can just bring your own lunch and picnic there.
We went with a two for one coupon so the value was excellent under this deal. Our daughter loved patting the kangaroos and we all really enjoyed the 'birds' show. The restaurant does a really good pot pie.
We found Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary to be a great day out for the family. Our children got to interact with lots of animals - holding a baby croc, patting a possum, feeding the kangaroos, and watching amazing bird shows. I only wish we'd arrived a bit earlier so we got to see all the lorikeets (by 9.30am they are gone).
