I ordered a lap top on line and it came within a week. I wanted to purchase some extra and went online on a Sunday just to have a look at what was available. Dell have staff 7 days a week during business hours that you can chat online with. I had an answer to my query within minutes. Fantastic service for a Sunday

I ordered a laptop and related items on line which showed a delivery time of 12 days, I was still waiting for the actual laptop 3 months later. Received the printer within 3 weeks but no laptop! Had to always call them to follow up, nobody ever called me even when I asked to be contacted by a supervisor. Price wasn't that great given all the problems which followed and the language barrier encountered everytime I called.

Hi Melindac4, thanks for sharing your negative experience with Dell. Given the vast sums of money being made (by offering goods of questionable quality), surely the business in question could employ some English speaking customer service representatives that actually gave a damn about the consumer. This is my second dell computer, brought it last year, and they don't send you window CD anymore. the new recovery service is confusing. They were bit better 4 years ago when I brought my first laptop, where I add more hardware option to the package and Cds with it. The new dell website is less flexible. Overall it was good value for money, I do recommend it, good delivery.
I purchased a Dell Studio laptop 2 years ago now, to date it has worked perfectly, I have been given the best service from Dell and the follow up on any issues has been wonderful. I believe a laptop only lasts a few years but mine is still going strong.

The quality of product is amazing! The call out help you have on offer for the big company's is fantastic - efficient and fast. However for the average person to not be able to call a real person to speak to is very frustrating.
I always prefer DELL for Laptops and even recommend to my friends. AS a Dell Laptop user for more than 3 years, I had no issue.
Bought my Dell Wasabi for cheap.
Great Bargain. Helped me out a lot. Sent me a feedback form to ask how well the service was. I even got one for my friend. Will definitely shop again.

good to surf over and look at their merchandise, although when it comes to the purchasing, the prices are pretty hefty, considering its just a bunch of wires and plastice. but still better then other shops
Bought a dell D630 laptop to replace my D600 Found that it is a very reliable machine that doesn't necessarily have all the bells & whistles that typical laptops aimed at private consumers ie sd card reader, HDD size etc. But when compared to other business machines it is reasonably priced. Sleek - smart looking. If you want a reliable machine for business purposes then you should consider the Dell series of machines. Online order & specking was easy. Wait for their discounts / campaigns to get upgraded RAM or HDD.
