Buyers beware …!!! Placed an order just over 2 months ago and it has still not arrived. Sent in a couple of emails and tried the online chat but was ignored all the way. Eventually had to call them to get an answer. First, they claimed that one of the items on my order was out of stock. This could have been better if it was marked that way on their website prior to me ordering it. Shortly I received an email with a tracking number, and two weeks later; I did not receive my parcel. Australia Post told me that the tracking number sent to me was of a digital scan not a physical one. Had to call Digidirect TWICE again to ask them to send me my order. Still waiting. This has been a horrible transaction and would think twice about submitting another order with these guys in the future. As much as they have competitive prices, you end up paying for delivery which is very very slow and worse of all after many attempts to make contact with them you still feel like you are not making any progress at all..

Emailed the shop and asked for advice and availability, Alex wrote back quickly and confirmed availability and advice on options of different cameras.
Went to the shop the next day, Got everything I wanted.
great service! I will go back.

I initially was not impressed at all. I telephoned inquiring about an Olympus 24-80 lens and to confirm the price from a google search. The person to whom I spoke confirmed the price and told me to go on line and order. Well us mortals who live in the country know the frustrations of internet dropping out on a regular basis. Having got to the payment stage Yes! it dropped out, I had not idea whether the order and payment had been processed. Quite miffed I telephoned again and this time the person was more than happy to take my order over the phone; no problems at all. One happy customer. The assumption that all in this country of our enjoys a reliable, fast, efficient internet is flawed. To be truthful I was going to cancel the order when I phoned if it has been processed and go to elsewhere - how one obliging person can change a persons mind. I know not his name but thank you.

Comming from a city where the range of equipment and brands is limited, DigiDirect has a great range of photography equimment accessories and supplies. My service was fantastic, communication was easy, helpful, respective and straightforward. Goods arrived quicker tnah I had anticipated. I'll be usiung DigiDirect's serives again and they wiull be my "first port of call"!

I ordered an Atamos Ninja V, HDMI cable, SSD, and Atamos Mount on the 6th of May and I was told the items were in stock at the time of my order. It has now been one month since my order, and I have called the service team multiple times and they have come back with nothing but conflicting information about my order. On the 19th of May I called them for an update, and they told me that the Angelbird ATOM X SSDmini 1 TB Mini SSD is out of stock and will arrive the following week and that my order would be ready to ship. While I was annoyed as I previously thought this item was in stock I was willing to wait until the following week.

However since I received no updates I had to call the online service team again on the 3rd of June. During the most recent call today they have told me now the Atomos Ninja V is NOT in stock, and now I have to wait another 2 weeks + to receive it. As well as telling me he didn't even know the availability of Atomos AtomX 5" / 7" Monitor Mount attachment, which if not received with my order would render the Atomos Ninja V Monitor useless as I cannot attach it to my camera anyway.

I have received nothing but misinformation in dealing with my online order, and I firmly believe I have been lied to about whether the items were in stock in the first place. I purchased these items thinking they were all in stock and ready to ship and that's not the case. Currently only 2 of the 4 items are in stock, even though I placed the order a month ago. I cannot describe how frustrating it has been to deal with this.

Due to these reasons I believe people should be very wary of purchasing products from the Digi Direct online store.

I had 162 photos to print after a recent holiday and decided to try DigiDirect’s ‘DigiPrint’ photo printing service because I was dissatisfied by other photo printing services’ quality when I previously printed photos (most services nowadays use dry lab printing which is essentially inkjet printing but DigiDirect uses traditional wet lab printing which is much higher quality and does not involve any ink). I used the DigiPrint mobile app to submit my order. The app is easy to use and worked very well without crashing or other issues. The timeframe given was 10 days but my photos were printed the same day as I submitted my order and posted the next day. I had my photos within a few days and the quality was superb. I will be using DigiDirect’s photo printing service only from now on (as long as they still provide wet lab printing, anyway). My photos were well packed and the prints were crisp, clear, and well balanced in colour. I cannot recommend their photo printing service enough. All you have to do is submit your photos and a few days later excellent prints arrive in the post.
