I had dial up internet with Dodo for one year, towards the end of the year I needed to notify them to cancel my internet so they wouldn't charge me for the next year. This was almost impossible, requiring me to email them approximately 10 times and get no response, and call about 5 times. Despite this they still charged me for the next year - the process to get this money back was difficult, with one of their customer service operators being so rude that I ended up needing to take up the case with the ombudsman in order to get it resolved.

ITS THEIR WAY OR TOUGH LUCK FOR YOU THE CONSUMER - keep all correspondence and dates times and people you speak at all times, better still record your call, they are useless and lie, I did and I am glad. Final result, they sent me a debt collecting letter guess how much they demand from me $0.00, within 14days, just how does someone pay this amount, and am I clear from the debt collector, who knows ask DODO, they are stupid and harass people, and they should have to pay for this harassing, this just confirm to me they are useless, and I standby people not to use them, they harass and they can't understand english, they don't use Australians for call centre for trying to solve issues.

Approximate cost: $1400 plus harassment

they havre been absolutely appalling from day one. took 2 months to get a connection then hasnt worked most days for the 2 months since then. rude on the phone, american call centre predominantly. save money time and effort and go elsewhere!

DODO are terrible. They have been calling and harrassing us for months, looking for someone who isn't at our home. We continully tell them not to call and that no one by that name doesn't live here but they still call. Sometimes it's a couple of times a day and at 6pm! We have told them to take us off there contact list to no evail! :(

DODO has me fuming to the absolute MAX...

I would not ordinarily re-rate a business, but DODO has infuriated me by ringing the other day - months after I asked that my details be removed off their database. I was absolutely incensed when the woman hung up on me after hearing me complain about her intrusion!!!

I rang DODO back (hoping to get an onshore customer service person) and surprise, surprise the Manila call centre answered. I explained the situation...and demanded (yet again) that they REMOVE my name and phone number off their database and explained that DODO would invite a complaint if it ever rang me again. The woman apologised profusely and confirmed that my details will be removed...but I guess that's yet to be seen!

The last time they rang was lunch time on Christmas Day of all times. I objected to that intrusion and asked them if they knew what day it was...when I said it Xmas their ever so rude response was to laugh....

About mid last year Dodo kept changing their dial-in number which caused enormous probs for my poor PC. Apart from that it was a spate of very rude phone calls from Dodo's off-shore call centre staff that pushed me to dump that ISP early this year. Now I'm happy elsewhere with (a) cable internet, and (b) pleasant call centre staff!!

They may have good value for products, however their customer service is atrocious. You could be waiting on the phone for hours before you get to speak to anyone who then hangs-up on you while transferring your call elsewhere. They would definitely do better with proper customer service training.

i had been with dodo for over 2 years.. i had tried to cancel them numerous times, at least once a month but they kept deducting money from my credit card..
they refused to cancel me even though i was not under contract!
eventually i had to change my credit card
