These meals remind me of when I was in the Military - over salted mushy baby food. There guarantee is not worth the paper it is written on. I returned them, only to have two more direct debits taken out of my account. I have had to have the bank cancel my card to avoid paying for something I no longer have. If you go to the office of consumer affairs and download a couple of their brochures you will see that they are in breach of a number of laws in regards to mis- repesentation (none of the meals look even remotely like their photos) and guarantee practices.

I would not recommend this company to any one BEWARE THES COMMENTS ARE ALL TRUE. I ordered meals of which i have paid for and not yet received been waiting three weeks now and i still cannot get an explanation as to why no one answers my calls or returns my emails. I will get a hold of someone sooner or later . However all, the negative comments about this company are all true so why has consumer affairs not done anything about this i will be contacting them via the state representative Government that is your local MP and i suggest that everyone else do also and lets shut them down permanently

i ordered easymeals in October and finally got it late November, the idea was for the whole family to try. we each had a different meal and found them all bland and fatty, very little nutrition. barely edible. I tried a second meal, just as bad. we returned the remaining and are waiting on a refund. Bad food, bad service and bad value.

No review, havent tried the meals.
signed up to recieve $500 travel voucher but decided it was too expensive. trying to cancle but was talked into postponing instead and a cheaper order.
recieved notification 23rd Dec that order was on its way, First payment - 29th Dec. This is in breach of thier terms and conditions which state that orders are only processed after first payment. Recieved order 29th Dec, payment attempt 30th Dec (failed).
I tried to cancel order 23rd Dec but office closed for holidays till Jan 4th. T & C state I can cancel any time up until First payment. Which I did. will now see if i can get rid of two large paperweights in my hallway and I have written them stating as they have breached the T & C's I refuse to pay for their return.
In effect they have breached the contract of the order without any warning of changes over the holiday period.

So, For what it s worth here are my comments.

I have ordered this product, it has not yet arrived so I cannot comment on the quality of the food.

How ever just because some one else said it tastes like dog food does not mean I wont try each of their products for myself and make an informed choice. (for myself according to my tastes)

Yes the sales pitch was a bit pushy, (thats their job to secure sales) so I pushed back, questioned a lot, and told them to ring me back after I had thought about it. The $90. for 100 meals sounded too good/cheap so confirmed the price and was then informed about the fortnightly payments. So at least I know what I am signing up to, as far as the money situation goes.

Never be bullied into agreeing to anything you're not sure of....just hang up.

For those of you who were not pushy like me, and feel as though you have been duped, I would like to remind you that the phone calls were recorded and if you were not advised of the recurring payments, then really they cannot make them as it is not what you agreed to.

The proof will be in your recordings and I would suggest you pursue that avenue.

As for the food itself.... I will provide my honest opinion when it arrives... Merry Christmas to all and may your shopping experiences be successful :)

Trying to cancel my order, given the run around. I do not trust this business. They have told be several different stories about why they can't access my account to cancel it before it has been sent. They have already deducted money from my account. I will be reporting them to Consumer Affairs.

I too have just been delivered 100 Easy Meals & haven't opened any as they are not what I was described over the phone. I have sent them two emails already but they haven't had the decency to reply to either. I am going to stop payment with the bank & then they might reply, hopefully. I will also be contacting Consumer Affairs about this rort. I wish I had read these reviews before purchasing as they wouldn't have gotten a cent from me. I don't know how much it will cost to return the cartons. I understood them to be complete meals & they are not, you still have to cook vegetables, rice or pasta to make a meal. Just another scam to get you in BEWARE!. I still haven't received the $500.00 holiday voucher promised either. Did anyone else get theirs or is that a take as well.

I just saw today that $98.27 was taken out of my account. I never authorised this and they said I can't get a refund and also that I will have $100 taken out of my account every fortnight for 10 fortnights!!!! That's $1000 they are ripping me and so many other people off. I've heard this food is like dog food so I'm not looking forward to trying it. Also I am trying to lose weight. They say their food is low in fat but they are packed with carbs. You need to add pasta, rice etc. and weight loss shakes are a gimmick. They don't work. This company is a scam and I will be reporting them to get my money back which was unauthorised and also on behalf of everyone else out there who has been ripped off by this "so called" company. You're not taking $1000 from me without a fight.

I would not recommend this company to anyone they take your money out of your account when they are not supposed to and when you ask them to put your money back into your account they make every excuse that they can not too, wouldn't recommend them to anyone

We are on our third order of Easy Meals, and having them handy in the cupboard for the kids to grab and help themselves has been very convenient. We're not using them for weight loss, we just love that you can have a quick easy and tasty meal in under 5 minutes. I have to say I don't like all of their meals but luckily the ones i don't fancy are the same ones the kids clean up.
