I too had a bad experience with Easy Meals. The pasta meals were so bad that I would not feed them to my dogs. Although there were many months left before the use by date, there was no way that they would refund a return of them. I had posted back to them, at my own expense unopened bags for them to check with their quality control, but obviously they do not even have such a dept. as the response was that they were up to standard. Hence their "standard" is extremely poor. The lamb shanks are very good and the best in their range, but anyone considering purchasing from them would be well advised to read ALL the prior submissions here as they are spot on with negative descriptions of the other varieties, they speak the truth, The idea is great but fails dismally with such poor quality food.

I was unfortunately bullied into buying this food and being told it was
$89 not $89 x 10. I had huge problems with the company to return all this
food, although nothing had been opened. I will insist that the two
payments they have already taken out be refunded immediately and I am
putting this into the review so anyone thinking of buying from them -
don't. I haven't even bothered to open a packet as it just feels like
mostly liquid. I was forced over the mobile phone with poor reception to
sign up for this. I am disgusted that they have put me through all of
this. I have made a big mistake and they have been unhelpful in trying to
correct it.

I wouldn't recommend this business to anyone. The food, if you can call it that, is disgusting. So much so my dog won't even eat it! The company pays zero attention when you attempt to make a formal complaint and go on charging you regardless. They also call continuously without any prompting and are prone to bullying behaviour and rudeness and are of no help at all.
Avoid this company like the plague!

Hi..I ordered six months worth..and I tell you i had no issues or problems with THE company or anyone harassing me..the meals are wonderful and the lamb shanks unreal..I used rice as you do and pasta..and made salads..also great to add to if you want..for the price I got 14 meals for $66 a fornight..so for that price nutritious and I didn't have to spend hours prepping and cooking..I am a busy person and living alone..you don't feel like cooking up big for one..healthy too..

I just got my easy meals today.. Do they also make you lose weight :S Thats the whole reason as to why I bought easy meals I hope it does because that's what I was told over the phone ...

I think these "meals "should be relabelled gravy. You need to play lets spot the meat. "Meals" that are labelled chicken are full of gravy and potato. I only got these meals due to being time poor but they made us feel sick. I love to cook and now I just make time . Very expensive gravy.i have been told $50 to return meals .rip off !!!!!we used for one meal yuk!! I should explain three packets.

I received my delivery about 6 weeks ago and still have 90% of the meals still in the box. We have only tried about 4 or 5 meals and found them disgusting. Asking for a refund.

The meals are awful! They're literally a sloppy mess, mushy over cooked and almost like baby food. Many of the meals I've tried are a bit too sweet for my taste & don't really have much flavour to them. I ordered a whole bunch of meals, about 10weeks supply & have tried most of the meals, which have ended in the bin. I'm a good cook, but with a busy life wanted an easy option. Will go back to cooking for myself:)
The other issue I have is trying to contact this company to return my order, never able to get through to them over the phone & emailed twice with no reply. Don't waste your money, you'd probable get much better ready meals from the supermarket for less.

My direct debit has been taken out of the wrong day several months in a row, thus making me (the innocent party) incur dishonour fees!! I don't have $9.90 to cough up every time someone over there messes up! I am a pensioner on disability and this product has cause me so much grief I have warned my friends to stay away from it completely!
1.The meals made me and my partner ill.
2.Part of the promotional selling points did not get credited to me until I complained extensively
3.for several months the direct debit was taken out at the wrong date and I was dishonoured so many times its repulsive!
I tried fixing this by calling on several occasions, only to be told it would be fixed and, guess what? It wasn't!

Just today I have received 8 emails from the debit company saying that my payment was dishonoured! Thats EIGHT EMAILS! Now I will have to call them and try and get the two dishonour fees waived, that's MORE of my time I have to waste fixing something that I didn't falter on!
I have come out of this poorer, sicker and tainted towards the easy meals company. I still have meals left over that I wouldn't even touch! They disgust me!
The only thing I can do is hope I can get a refund for the strife and agony this company has put me through! It still wouldn't cover the dishonour fees I've gotten from both the debit company and my bank but it would count for something!!
I have comfirmed the recent payment has gone through... Even with the dishonour...

One of my older friends lost her husband just before Christmas and we were geting worried. The rest of the girls and I put some money in and ordered these meals for her. She's looking a lot better and says that she closes her eyes when she chooses a meal and it's her little surprise every day. She loves them and raves about the flavours
