This app will offer you free membership but then trick you by offering one month at half price but then you are mislead to sign up to a contract for 12 months. If the app was so good why would I need 12 months on a dating site. Contacted them and they said too bad!! Stay away

I am starting a class action law suit against eHarmony for Australians please email me at eharmonyclassactionlawsuit at gmail.com

Too many Aussies have been stung by this scam site, it needs to stop! it won't cost you anything, but it will cost eHarmony a LOT! lets make this happen.

Many of the 'matches' are fake. Requesting a refund after 3 days realising this I was ignored and then had the withheld payments sent to a debt collector.

This company is incredibly dodgy and not at all genuine or honourable. Stay away from them and stick to other dating sites that are free and offer better and more genuine profiles.

This company is purely about making money!

After months I had found only one matched person whom I found attractive. So, thinking that my profile was possibly the culprit, I had another go at the "personality test" but ended up in the same space, with the same matches. Also, the attractive person unexpectedly dropped out after a couple of promising communications (and I'm such an interesting person too!), a fact that adds weight to claims made in other reviews concerning the genuineness of communications.

My personal details were "stolen". I received an email from a scammer with details that only eHarmony had. I suspected that their database was not as secure as they thought. I emailed my suspicion along with a request that ALL my details be removed from their database. It appears that they did the removal (for which I give two stars for service), but they did not mention the "stolen" data. After reading the other reviews, and also reviews of RSVP, it occurred to me that these databases contained just the sort of data that would be highly desirable to marketers, etc. Have we been duped into unwittingly volunteering masses of information to unscrupulous businesses?

Never, never again! At least RSVP organised functions in the real world that I did attend.

I believe the same could be said for those Get Paid for Opinion type websites. They ask so many intrusive questions and supposedly go in the draw for some big prize. Then I had get phone calls the next 1-2 days for insurance, gas/electricity services etc.

I think this dating site is a big joke. I was finding that I was being matched with people that did not even come close to meeting my requirements as to what I had filled out during the extremely long sign up process. The site advertises on tv that it has the best quality matching service around. The first few people I chatted with seemed to be completely set up by the company and the only real people I seemed to chat with were not into anything even similar to the things that I said in my profile were extremely important. One of the worst `dealing with a business` experiences ever. A complete waste of money and time. It created more stress than anything else!!! Stay away!!!

My current fiancee had a similar experience on this website. He said it was the biggest waste of money.

Agree with the other 2 member reviews. I signed up and didnt get anything. Only contact from people with no photos and then couldn't do anything until they upgraded their member ship. No response from people who did have photos.

So i figure they are just fake accounts or accounts people have put up and then stopped using because the website is so crap

I think this website is much too expensive. I'm sure there may be a few success stories, but I've heard about people being matched with those who are unsuitable.

Eharmony is a scam and you can constantly asked to pay more money. All I can say is that it is a scam and you get no results. Do no believe their TV commercial.

A shocking service. When I joined I got a whole 7 matches in Sydney sent to me, despite putting a very broad criteria in my request. I sent them an email about it and asked how many members they actually had in Australia and the email reply was that they were unable to tell me their membership numbers! When I replied to their email, I got a bounceback email. I don't believe they even have an office in Australia, but run their Australian website out of America. Stick with Australian owned websites that know their market!
