Love the atmosphere. Good menu with a variety ro choose from

I'm not a fan. The three times I've been here I say I'll never go back, and this time i'll stand by it. It's either our orders are cold, go haywire and we get someone elses meals, and they all come at different times so someones eating after everyone else has finished, or its just such bad service. Dont recommend at all

Ah, the good old RSL. My friends and I love going to the Epping RSL, especially for large family functions! Booking is essential for larger groups and busy nights. Support your local RSL by becoming a member, too. Drinks are very reasonably priced, we've always found the food to be great and reasonably priced and service has never been an issue for us. For those that like the pokies, they are across the hall, from the separate dining room. Smoking area (yes..I know, but that's my one vice) is available. Good local venue.

tonight we attended in a group of 4 for a catch up dinner. We found the menu to be extensive with the usual bistro/pub meals

Whilst service of wait staff was friendly the meals were average.

Our friend ordered shepherds pie special which he had to send back to kitchen as it was cold inside. Waitress was polite about it and assured meal would be heated in oven and not microwaved.

When he got his meal back, beneath potatoe mash was a tomatoe paste with tiny amount of beef mince, mix of peas carrots instead of a gravey beef sauce like a good pie would have

Waitress refunded him the cost of the meal and offered a free dessert
Which was appreciated

My steak was tough and little charcoal and mushroom sauce was over powered by red wine

Im a little Disappointed at not having a great meal after spending my money but these things happen occassionally when dining out

Very warm setting, great tasting food, very friendly staff. Good place to have a family meal. Great place to go for a meal for either lunch or dinner.

We've been eating at the Epping RSL for many years and menu choice and range is extensive. The food is always great, prices are very reasonable and the staff friendly...what more could you want! They also have an outdoor play area for children!! We often have family meals here or meet friends and no-one has ever had an unsatisfactory meal. Always ring to check table availability as they get very busy however they still manage to serve your dinner within a reasonable time.

i always book in advance as it is a popular place. the prices are great and the food tops the costs price. the meals come out looking fantastic. its a place we take the whole family. celiac and people that have special food requirements can eat here and know that it wont unset there tummy. this ones a winner for all.

Have had meals here on and off over the past few years..Have never had to complain once. Quality is very good. Prices have gone up somewhat but still excellent value
