This is the first negative review i have ever written. Normally i use reviews for positive feedback only. However ... Buyers beware!!!!... I ordered stock standard furniture items (Emerald Range) from Eureka Furniture Slacks Creek in April this year. I STILL DO NOT HAVE A DELIVERY DATE! I was told worst case scenario for delivery would be mid July, but as of today it is not even clear if the shipment is under way- coming from China I believe. Likely delivery will be 'no body knows'?!! (in any case delivery will be well after my international guests, whose room i was furnishing, have departed).
My advice- Find what you want elsewhere. If you do purchase form this company be sure the items ARE IN STOCK ready to be delivered (& get a date in writing) BEFORE you put down a deposit. Then don't expect to see your furniture for months.
I certainly hope that when the furniture finally arrives it is in pristine condition as I will not be accepting anything. less. I will update this post as the situation changes- Positive (hopefully) or negative. Watch this space.

I love the furniture here! It's a breeze to walk around and dream of what I could buy. I know they are a bit higher priced than some stores, but the value for money is there. The furniture is mainly wood, which means it would last a long time. I want to go back and buy a desk here, but I need to save up first. Friendly staff, easy to find, easy parking in front.

This store reminds me of the old days, when customer service and value for money were paramount. I have never been here before the weekend, and I liked what I saw. My wife needs a new desk, and we went in to check out their prices. They are a bit more expensive, but the furniture is well made and would last a long time. Definitely worth the extra money. Beautiful furniture made from wood.

We have bought several items of furniture over the years and have always loved each piece and found then to be of excellent quality. We recently were looking for a new dining centre, and decided to see if we could find something at eureka. We fell in love with a suite straight away, and decided to buy even though we thought it a little overpriced. We tried to get them to come down in price, but they would't budge at all. I fact the sales assistant was quite offended that we even asked for a discount. They also weren't very flexible when it came to delivery. However, the quality of the dining suite makes up for lack of service.

We have been buying furniture from Eureka furniture for over 10 years and have always found the quality and service wonderful. We had the rolling-pin from our queen bed crack and break off a number of years ago, and they fixed without cost, even though not in warranty. We recently bought a dining suite, which we got on sale, and again the service was great. We know that if we have any problems, they will be there to help.

I bought a dining table from this company not quite 18 months ago and at the time I was very happy with the service and the price but the other day I noticed that the leather on one of the dining chairs was starting to crack all over. I have used leather conditioner on all of them and the other 9 chairs are fine. I expect there was a fault with this piece of leather but they refuse to do anything more than sell us a new chair at cost for $175. I would have expected a leather chair to last more than 18 months and I don't like their attitude that any bad review we might give will not affect them as they say they have a good name. I feel like I've been ripped off.
