i used to love this place, as did my partner but theyve gotten settled into the community now and not trying as hard as they used to. their burgers, salads and chips used to be some to rave about but are very average now. i dont eat meat products anymore but friends still recommend their cheap and "juicy, fresh chickens" - i wouldnt highly recommend anything else available there though aside from friendly service and a good view of carlisle street.

Reasonably good chicken and burgers as well...fries good too...service not bad...nice choice of salads too...reasonably priced...good place to get take away from when you are too busy or too lazy to cook dinner ...

I have been buying chicken here, at least once a week or more since the store opened.

The food is very cheap, yet comes in generous servings and is swiftly prepared. I have often thought to myself how much I would miss it if it closed down or if I moved away.

I almost always get the same thing, a chicken roll, breast, skin off, with no mayonnaise. Recently when I ordered I noticed the staff member was preparing thigh for the roll. I asked for breast. He said it was 'too late'. I insisted very politely that I would really prefer breast. He maintained that I didn't ask for breast and it could not be changed.

When I mentioned that I had been getting the same thing for 5+ years (many of the staff know my order, though they have changed over the years) he said "I have never seen you in here before and I work here every day."

When I insisted that I was a regular he was dismissive, argued with me, and said I had 'ordered wrong'. When I asked to speak to a manager he explained that he was the manager and walked out the back, effectively ending our conversation.

I tried phoning later and asked to speak to the owner, who as it turns out was this same man. Unfortunately I could not understand him on the phone so I am unsure as to whether he offered an apology. His tone though was very defensive.

I should say up until this point the staff had always been very polite and friendly.

They have however, lost a customer over this, and one who used to recommend it to everyone he could.

So I warn any regular customers, the owner here does not value your individual business.

Fantastic takeaway chicken store serving a wide range of salads and chicken options. The chicken is moist and succulent and definitely better than your average chicken takeaway. This in itself makes Feast such a great find! The chips are a must try too!!
