We walked along Glebe Point Road about to enter a Himalayan restaurant but it was empty so we opted for another restaurant. We were turned away from a bustling Mexican restaurant till 8:45pm but it was 7:10pm, so we kept walking and stumbled upon the Flying Fajita Sisters which was quite full but could accomodate us as they had 2 floors.
We sat in the corner next to the bar & wall of pain (hot sauce cabinet). The first page of the menu described the origins of Mexican food. The menu was simple & descriptive of the food filling 2 pages, the last page was their cocktail/beverage menu. Unfortunately it was a Sunday night or there'd be a couple of yummy sounding cocktails ordered & all at reasonable price $12.5-$16 for premium tequila within.

The waiter was helpful & took time to explain what the dishes we were ordering. Between the 2 of us we shared an entree of King Prawn Huaraches-the salsa was yummy and the salad was fresh, alot of corn flavour. Chicken tamale which had a very dry wheaty dough component which required alot of sauce and the third dish was chimichanga with pork filling. Chimichanga was delicious but we'd choose another meat next time as the pork made the chimichanga taste too meaty & solid.

We ordered 2 mains to share

Been here twice, and probably not again after the last time a huge cockroach tried to run up my leg as I was eating! Food is pretty good, but over-priced. Would suggest other places over this

Love this place - great food, great service. Best to come in a group so you can try as many dishes as possible. We started with the nachos and mixed dips (the pepian and frijoles were very good) followed by 5 serves of the Flying Fajitas (chicken, steak, prawns, fish, chorizo). The chorizo and steak were the table's favourites while we unanimously agreed the chicken was too dry. (The legendary chillis sauces weren't as bad as expected though!)
We arrived pretty late, nearly 10pm, but the staff were very accommodating and looked after our table throughout the meal. It was a great evening - yummy Mexican food, friendly service - what's not to love?

I love the $3 taco & tequila Tuesday special! Great place to go with a small group of friends ... food is tasty & atmosphere is bright & bubbly. It's easy to forget it's only a Tuesday night & have 1 too many tequila shots!

I love the fajitas at this cozy little place! Lots of flavour and good quality fillings. Serving sizes are a little small, but still very very good overall. The wall of pain (chilli sauces) is a nice touch! Am yet to be disappointed by a restaurant on this strip.

Food is pretty good and the cocktails are reasonably priced taste pretty good. Value for money when you eat on Tuesdays $3 Fajitas or something like that. Definitely worth a visit.

This place has a nice little courtyard out the back, great on a summers night. The mango and cheese quesadilla is my pick for a delicous entree to share. Good service, friendly staff.

Great tasting mexican food with a wide range of choices on the menu including fajitas, nachos, enchiladas and tacos. Their margharitas are very yummy and I would highly recommend their soft beef tacos. On Tuesdays they have unlimited $3 tacos and $3 tequila shots - great value! Definitely make a booking as they are always very busy.
