I think this business closed down a year or two ago so is no longer operating in Bathurst St. I'm not sure whether it has moved to another premises or not?

I always feel sorry for puppies and kittens in pet stores. But this one really arcs me up. The poor animals are kept in tiny pens in a tiny store, noisy store. They do stock all your basic pet needs but it is really saddening to see the poor animals in such an inclosed space.

they have a good range of pet accessories and the staff are nice enough. i'm not a fan of selling puppies in a shop at the best of times but i agree with another review that the puppies are a little pricey

I think that this pet shop has a really bad ethic. I feel sorry for the pets that go in and out of here. They are sold at such a high price that because people can't afford it they are left sitting in their cages for a very long time. Sometimes as a result they become to old and have to be taken to the dogs home or cat center. I know this because somebody working there told me. Also a dog that we purchased from there for $500 died after only having it for a day because it had been taken of it's mother to early.

I usually buy items for my tropical fish tank here, such as fish food and filters etc.
Their tropical fish food is more expensive than many other places (such as Animal Tuckerbox or Pets Domain).
It's a small store and can get a bit crowded but they do stock a reasonable range of items for a small store.

they have a good variety of animals and animal products. it is nice being able to see the new puppies etc when i visit the shop. customer service is excellent

This pet shops has a good range of products for all types of pets. I normally go for fish products and find they have a good range of fish as well as aquarium accessories at a good price.

This shop is open 7 days a week which makes it very convenient as not all pet shops in Hobart are open 7 days.
