Had a meat platter and it was hugh, well cooked and had lovely flavors, i would reccommend this pub to anyone

Fantastic menu range specializing in traditional German fare. Lovely atmosphere with outdoor garden view upstairs and they often have a pianist playing.

The food is a little pricey, but the servings are good and so is the quality. Nice atmosphere - cozy place to sit for a bit.

I have been here a few times. For both dinner and breakfast.

I find the food a bit too pricey for the quality and the serving.

Breakfast, however, was on par with most cafes along the same street.

Not in a hurry to return, but a good place to catch up with the nice ambience it provides

German Arms Hotel, is one hotel in Hahndorf where to go. Great food and service, hit it at the bar, play a bit of pool, and pick a couple of songs, and a bit of fun. It's a great German hotel, that you'll always want to come back and enjoy time after time again

a small group of 6 called in for an ale and morning tea. exceptional service and price were great value for money. Because of our experience, we all decided to go back for lunch. The food was cooked to perfection and their in house German beer, was also an experience. Meals were served fast, not that that was a problem, we had all the time in the world

We have been this inn few times. We always enjoy German sausages. As they serve various kinds (I cannot remember names), we always share with someone. I had a soup of a day this time with bread and it was nice.

It was a busy Saturday. They finally found a table for two and they did say thankyou for waiting. That was nice. But that's where it ended. After sitting for about 10-15 minutes, it took ages for us to flag someone down to actually take out order. However, after this the food came out relatively quick.
Had the damper and the German Experience. Damper's not as good as Hahndorf Inn and the German Experience is as expected from either place.
Hit or miss? It's much of a muchness.

Had a beautiful meal, chicken stuffed with ham and smoked cheese, then enjoyed some drinks, music and pool in the front bar. Lovely pub with great atmosphere

we have been here for lunch a few imes and have loved it everytime.. this is my favourite restaurant in Hahndorf.. the food is great and reasonable price.. service was very good.. staff were very friendly and courteous
