There certainly was enough food and most of it was pretty decent. There was the hot food bar, where a lot of what was in it was commercial and didn't taste 'made' at all. What you could buy at a supermarket and reheat at home
The cold side had the stuff that you cooked. This was quite good coz it included sashimi salmon, kingfish and tuna.

But it was the service that was lousy. They told us with 5 minutes to go that our time was up! 1. I didn't even know there was a time limit and if you look on their website, it doesn't say there's a time limit anywhere!
We had just put some chicken down for cooking and how are you expected to cook chicken and eat it in 5 minutes???

They also put us at the worst table. The smoke kept blowing one direction so you were always covered with smoke if you sat on that side of the table. And it's awkward sitting if you try and seat both people on one side. Plus, this was the ONLY table which had this issue that I could see.

Ridiculous and also very misleading that there's a time limit

Would I come again, probably not for the price.

Been there for buffet. Foods were good. But they put their restaurant on entertainment book to promote them which includes buffet and a la cart
But when we were gonna pay the staff said can't use. Next time put on etb "a la cart only"

Such amazing food! The Gyoza! The mixed entrees! The teriyaki everything!
If you like easy, comforting, somewhat authentic (to my inexperienced tastes) Japaneze food, go to Ginza. They are wonderful, and worth the few extra dollars you'll pay when compared with some other cheap and easy restaurants in the area.
Nom nom nom!!!

They're doing renovations currently, so need to walk down the side lane and this makes it look a bit dodgy. But you can see what's happening once you're inside. I think once they open up again, it's going to be something spectacular.
So had a look at the menu and the stuff on the $29 buffet menu is rather lacking. They have a 'higher' menu for $39 and this has all the very inviting and nicer quality foods.
However, for $29 to do a bit of a bbq, there's nothing the matter. Still, for that price, I'd rather go to the Korean bbq's in the city. But give it a go, it's rather nice if not that cheap.

If you want quality, unfortunately you have to really pay for it here. Their food really is delicious they just need to work on their service, a bit slow

Had lunch here a few times with work collegues earlier this year. They serve up some incredible, authentic, well presented fresh food, the menu is quite extensive and the staff are very friendly but found them to be slow with taking our orders. Also, waiting time for our meals was 35 minutes, which isn't great when you are a bit limited with how long you can take a lunch break for. Fortunatey for us, our boss was understanding.

I will return but will allow more time for placing our order and eating our meals, as you don't want to rush as their cuisine is certainly delicious.

We went to ginza because I had seen reviews from friends on Facebook... I liked their page & saw that they had a bbq buffet for $29.

When we arrived, we were greeted at the door by a lovely Japanese lady in a traditional kimono. She guided us to the back room where they have the bbq's.

we were then taken to our table which looked like a traditional Japanese table that you would kneel at- but it was sunken into the ground! Very cool idea!

The Japanese waitress brought us a menu each & explained that it was $29 & we could order as many times as we liked. They also had bottomless soft drinks for $3.90.

We ordered a few different things & cooked them on the bbq. We asked the waitress what a couple of things on the menu were & she explained. She also helped us at one stage when our meat went up in flames!

Overall the customer service was outstanding, the food was fresh, a fun way to dine & very good value!

We would definitely go again :-)

I went there with a bunch of friends to their new BBQ buffet. $29 per pax with free flow of soft drinks. This is one of the best japanese buffet that i have in town. the food is ordinary but what i love about this restaurant is their staffs. Even though the restaurant is super busy yet they still serve the customer quite well. However, some order did not turn up because they are too busy. In terms of food, as I mentioned previously, nothing special except for their homemade green tea ice cream. we order about 30 serves! It is very delicious!
In addition, if you are going with a large group of people, please make a booking because it is quite packed. One thing i dont like is the smokiness of the area. This is due to the poor ventilation. But they said that they are going to repair it soon.

Approximate cost: $29

This place offers great tasting traditional Japanese foods, including a variety of entrees, main meals that you can share, or rice/noodle dishes. Although a tad on the expensive side, the service provided is very friendly and the food is great quality!
They have two separate dining areas, the front is a modern setting, the back is more traditional with a Teppanyaki style dining available.

Approximate cost: $25-30
