Had dinner here on a Tuesday night and wasn't disappointed. The fried rice was so good, I ordered a takeaway serve for the following day. All the dishes were tasty. Did find the service a bit slow, despite there only being 6 other customers there but other than that, all good.

My last two experiences here were terrible, so it is nice to hear that they have improved.

Friendly staff, nice setting, fast service and tasty food albeit some dishes were a little bit too salty. Will be back again :) I hear they have a good selection of yum cha, too!

Our friends insisted that we dine here even though we explained our previous experience was so bad. Well, as we thought, nothing had changed, no improvement, dreadful lazy service and underwhelming food. Our friends agreed, we made a mistake. How can they still be in business?

Don't go here!

Oh no! How frustrating. I hate it when friends do that... Listen to your friends when they say a restaurant is bad!! Unless it's somewhere you've eaten 20 times already!

We had a range of dishes from here, one was a chicken dish with special sauce. The sauce was amazing, but I had specifically asked the waiter whether there was chili, and was told that there was no chili. Then, it came out super hot, which was frustrating.

The crispy tofu was kind of old and sour tasting, but the dumplings were a phenomenon - totally crispy, beautiful and amazing.

If you are going to eat here, I recommend ONLY eating the dumplings. I don't think we will be back, however!!

Which dishes did you eat, Shazzbot? Isn't it weird how some are good, but most are just disgusting?! I can't believe I was told there was no chili, and then it was so hot - NO customer service. If I had an allergy I would never trust this place!

Hey biancabowie, do you mean which dishes did we attmept to eat? The ones I can remember are peking duck, satay chicken, salt & pepper spare ribs and black bean - yuk!

Haha. Sorry for laughing, but that sounds like such a disaster, I feel bad for you!

This is one restaurant my husband and I will never try again. We gave them two chances, I don't know why we bothered, it was exactly the same, the staff were disinterested, like they didn't want to be there, service was slow and the food, well small servings and not particularly tasty. Some food was overcooked and some undercooked. Overall, extremely unimpressed.

Really disappointed with their service & food. The food was just take so much time, wait for more than 30 minutes. The staff was lazy. Will never recommend to others

Approximate cost: $19

So we've got a Groupon voucher for 12 rounds of dim sims.
Get there and shown to a table promptly. Give them the voucher and out comes the food... some of it.
The wait staff weren't exactly happy or even looked like they wanted to be at work. The only one that was enthusiastic at any time was the manager/owner.
And they left us for half an hour without even looking at us or asking if we were ok. When we inquired, they said our voucher was only for 6 dishes. Got the voucher back and it was clearly stated for 12. They need to learn to read.
The food was mediocre at best. At no time were we really happy with anything.

Definitely one to be missed.

Found this restaurant very disappointing and will not be returning.

Hi EdwardW, glad to hear that you didnâ??t allow the business in question to rip you off in relation to the Groupon voucher. We really do not understand why businesses agree to sign-up for such gimmicks if they are not intent on providing the promised goods/services. With the sheer amount of delectable dishes on offer these days, mediocrity should not be tolerated. Regards, Reeces

I agree. Why use a groupon gimmick, when you need the good food to back it up!

Unimpressed! Went here with some friends as they wanted to try this place out. The only good thing about this place is that the prices were ok, the service however, wasn't. They placed our drinks on the table and you could see that the glasses had not been washed properly. Felt the food was average, had the satay beef for entree and then didn't really want anything else, it was overcooked. I like tender meat not dry crispy meat coated in sauce to hide it. I wasn't the only one that felt this way, we all decided to just have an entree and then leave. Will not be returning.

Approximate cost: $15+

Hi RedDwarf, grubby glasses are certainly not the ideal! Nor is attempting to hide overcooked food swathed in sauce. (A common trick used by incompetent chefs.) Thanks for the heads-up! Reeces

i used to come here very often but the quality of food has gone down dramatically. the prices are good, and the serving sizes are good. THe service is no good when the manager is not around. on a few occasions, i have sat at my table and waved and waved waiting for something to come to us...

Approximate cost: $10-15

Hi Sailormoon, one wonders whether the business in question has changed hands, as the reviews appear to deteriorate from somewhere between January and August, 2013. Thanks for the heads-up! Reeces

The staff here are amazing and will always go out of their way to ensure their customers have a lovely meal and a pleasant experience. Their chef is amazing and the food is gorgeous. There is such variety on the menu but my favourite by far is the Peking Roast Duck. They have an excellent website where you see all their dishes and even pre-order for when the restaraunt opens. They also do take away. The best thing when you go with a group of people is the lazy susan they provide on your table to put a variety of dishes on so everyone can try everything! Some meals are expensive and one even has to be ordered a day in advance but the quality is second to none and well worth the dollars for a special occasions.

Approximate cost: $30
