I am writing a review because I find it useful to read informative reviews when I'm using those deal sites - I bought a deal for $69 Deluxe Makeover Package (cut / treatment / 1/4 foils OR semi) on Living Social.

I did end up paying $150 extra in salon (Total $219) , as I wanted a semi as well as the foils - if I had not got the extra semi, I think it still would have been an extra $50 or so for long hair. While this was expensive (for me), it was definitely worth it as Crystal my stylist did an excellent job on my cut and colour - Thx Crystal :-) I love my new hair. And isn't that priceless.....well not really. But I do feel good.

The other staff were very nice also and offered me drinks etc..

Overall I would recommend this salon. For the same sort of hair package semi / foils / cut / treatment, you would expect to pay between 150-200 in other salons anyway (for longer hair). Not sure what it would have cost without the deal voucher - I don't think I could afford it....., I'd definitely get it again. Should of bought the two for $99!!!

This is THE worst salon I have EVER been to, and I've been to a lot. My first experience saw the stylist chop literally 5 inches of my hair off after I told her I was growing my hair for a wedding and the one thing she couldn't do was to cut much off. She told me because she cut it wet she didn't realize how short she cut it (WTF?). On my second visit, 2 days before the aforementioned wedding I was a bridesmaid for, I left with a bright orange coloured hair part (wasn't supposed to be like that) so I had to go in again the next day to have it 'fixed'. When I did I this time left with chunks of dark mahogany in front sections of my hair and also the beginning of my part. In the end I had to go to ANOTHER hair dresser to have my hair fixed, properly, and as a result my hair is now extremely damaged after spending a total of 10 hours over 3 days in hair salons. The Manager still wont call be back after I rang to make a complaint which makes me even angrier- do the right thing people c'mon. In addition, this salon charges REDICULOUS prices. Which ordinarily I'd be happy to pay if they were good! $250 for ONE block colour, NO cut??!! I'm clearly not the only person who feels this way because they are very obviously struggling at the moment. Here's a thought Guggenheim.. How bout you stop relying on the reputation you USED to have and get yourself some stylists who can justify you asking the prices you do, or/and.. drop your rediculous prices. No one else in the city charges anywhere near what you do.

I had my hair washed and blow waved for a special occassion, and it turned out very well. Sometimes I leave a hairdresser not totally happy, but not last week.

Great service with a smile, listen and communicate really well to make sure your on the same page. i love how they all work well together and help each other out as a team. A nice atmosphere and your treated first class!

I used a Guggenheim hair voucher deal and the whole experience was awesome. I paid 50 dollars more as my hair is long and think, which is reasonable. Good a great scalp massage and treatment and the staff were very professional.

The guggenheim for hair team, were a very positive experience for me 2 years ago and they continue to be now....They DO provide the level of service and expertise as noted on their website and I especially recommend them for anyone who takes hair color seriously....the stylists are continually upskilled with the Redken color lab, a serious advantage over other salons, as each client is individually assessed and treated based on their own unique hair. I changed from blonde to brunette and the final color was perfect, it showed no signs of red tint and the roots and ends were the same tone. I also went from long locks to medium / short and the style cut finish was great....you get what you pay for and I will continue to pay for a quality job, especially with the compliments I recieve....some also believe that this is my natural hair :-)

I had a voucher for this salon so was paying a fraction of the price. They treated me fantastically and it was the best cut I have had and the colour they recommended suited me. I felt so good walking out of this salon and got compliments from about 5 people about my hair. If only I could afford to visit them again..
