I had a discount voucher for this salon and for what I paid the cut and colour are great. However I would never consider paying half of their listed price for what I received. Only a few of the staff had nice hair themselves, with more than half having lanky, shine-free hair and half grown out colour, which didn't inspire confidence. The staff I dealt with were either sullen or ho-hum with no-one making an effort to chat or be cheerful. Basically the service and quality were equivalent to a hairdresser in a shopping centre, however they peg themselves as luxury/prestigious/award winning and charge to match (if paying full price). They also failed to give me everything my voucher entitled me to, leaving out little things like a hand massage and a voucher towards my next visit.

I had a voucher for this salon so was paying a fraction of the price. They treated me fantastically and it was the best cut I have had and the colour they recommended suited me. I felt so good walking out of this salon and got compliments from about 5 people about my hair. If only I could afford to visit them again..

Nothing pampering at all, just wam-bam-thank-you-mam. I have some concerns for the hygiene including being given a towel to cover myself which was obviously used by the last client as it already had a big wet patch of the gel. I had voucher for IPL hair removal and visited them 8 times, some staff made me feel very awkward and others were fine. The treatment was unsuccessful, but that is likely to be more a comment about IPL than Essential Beauty.

Absolutely fantastic! As the partner of a Japanphile I have eaten a lot of Japanese and this is by far and away the best I have eaten in Brisbane (includes fancy restaurants, but doesn't include Koh-ya in the Valley). I recommend the vegetarian curry, at only $6.50 at lunch it is flavoursome, filling and actually healthy with fresh veg and a potato patty on the rice and curry sauce.

We had Andrew from Action inspect a house we had under contract and were very satisfied with his attention to detail, friendly manner and of course the thorough report we received. Action alerted us to a multitude of potential pitfalls. The house we actually bought had just had a property report completed by another company and their report was not nearly as comprehensive.

I highly recommend Action Property Inspection HOWEVER I cannot say the same for pest inspectors that Action recommend to us whose reports were vague at best.
