Received excellent customer service from Simon with outdoor furniture. He went out of his way to provide me with all the details I needed to confidently purchase a floor item stock which was discontinued so agreed to purchase the display item. After paying and putting in my car the new ‘proprietor’ spoke to Simon and stated part of the display was not included although stated on the item description. The proprietor did not attempt to speak with me and resolve the marketing error and was arrogant and dismissive. Ver poor service and business management. Won’t be shopping at this store again although have received great customer service from the floor staff. Proprietor training required.

Very disappointed! Went to buy leather cleaner and was not able to purchase it because the young man dealt with bedding not furnishing and therefore unable to put it thru the correct till. The only person available was talking to a couple buying a couch. I’ll buy my cleaner elsewhere.

The franchisee needs training in business management and dealing with customer issues. Several occasions I spoke to him in regards to a major breach of my privacy, through somebody else accessing my personal account details, he was very defensive and generally not interested in resolving things.

Harvey Norman do really great value Santa photos, I can't wait to bring my son in for photos again! They have a lot of great deals around christmas also. The staff are very helpful.

My wife and I Are doing a lot of renovations to our home at present, a new kitchen is one thing being done. We decided to get rid of the cooker that is there and works perfectly well but we wanted a built in oven and gas hob. We also decided to get rid of the noisy range hood and go for a slide out one. Our new appliance are all stainless. We decided on a brand Ariston. The sales Lady at Harvey Norman Frankston recommended them and because of the great reviews on the exact models we had chosen. Not one bad review out of 37 online. They also come with a 5 year manufacturers warrantee, and they are Italian made NOT CHINESE. As I am a habitual haggler we shopped around comparing the model numbers with other retailers. Harvey Norman were cheaper than 1 by almost $400 and $50 dearer than another place BUT we went back to see the same lady because she new everything about the products, not just that brand but others as well and instead of trying to sell us the most expensive brand, which we would have paid for she recommended Ariston. Not the cheapest by any stretch, they're in the top 30% but have the best warrantee and are of a high build standard. Just by looking at them and opening doors etc, one can tell they are very well made. The service was second to none they arrived on time. We were kept informed at every step. We have since gone back to by a new fridge as well. Our old one worked well but was white so we sold it and are using our old beer fridge until the kitchen is finished. We will then do the same with our white Bosch dishwasher, sell it and replace it with a stainless one, probably Ariston. Again because of the reviews all very highly recommended by owners of the brand. If you live near Frankston and want a new appliance Go and see Ruby at Harvey Norman Frankston, you won't be disappointed.

So I go into the store looking at purchasing two LCD TV's. I speak to the man who tells me a price but only if I buy them right here and now. As I hadn't even looked at other stores or prices I told him I would need to think about it. He said he would only offer them to me for his price if I bought right here and now. I decided not to. I walked across the car park to another store, and not only was their ticked price $50 less than the 'bargain' I had been offered at Harvey Norman, but they took another $75 off each TV! I quickly realised why the Harvey Norman employee didn't want me looking anywhere else.
On another department- twice now I have ordered something online from Harvey Norman Photo's and arranged to pick it up from the Frankston Store. They say I will get a phone call when it's in store. Waiting waiting waiting and nothing. Finally I call them and "Oh yes, it's been here for ages." One guy told me quite rudely he had left a message on my voicemail. Well that's amazing seeing how I don't have voicemail, and wouldn't you think that if the call hadn't been returned, you might try calling again?
Even just an apology might have been nice!

Bought from this store many times, staff are helpful and some bargains to be bought, willing to bargain if you can buy else where cheaper.Friendly staff.

Great place. Lots of variety in all departments. I like the furniture section, the way they set out the furniture gave you good ideas for how to place an item in your house.
