We Spoke to quite a few carpet stores because we wanted to be sure that the carpet was (1) Good Quality (2) the underlay was also good quality (3) that the carpet layers were able to but the carpet up to and LEVEL with a thick porcelain tile that will be replacing carpet in the main living area's (4) The sales person knew his products and (5) the company was reasonable value for money. On every criteria the store manager was all over it. He explained the advantages and disadvantages of each type of carpet, each material etc etc. They have been flexible with the installation time, we are waiting for our kitchen to be finished the rest of the floor tiles laid etc. Nothing has been a problem for them. So if you want new carpet laid you will struggle to find anyone better than carpet call Frankston.

We are replacing both existing tiles and carpeted areas with polished porcelain floor tiles. We first went to Beaumont's in Frankston and looked at their range. After explaining what we were looking for the sales person started to TELL US what we wanted, from their range of course. So with that we left the store. By chance the company that is replacing our kitchen had a tile shop about 4 shops up from them so my wife and I went in and had a look. the manager was very helpful when we explained what sort of tile (colours) we wanted to match the new kitchen and the existing wall colour etc she showed us a few different colours that she thought would be ok. She was BANG ON. then she explained what the differences' between them were, ease of cleaning, how a particular size tile can make a room look bigger or smaller etc. So we ended up choosing a 600x300 polished porcelain. She happily gave us a full size sample to try in situ at home, perfect. So we ordered them on the next day. I have taken the sample to a couple of other places, including Beaumont's Who couldn't match it exactly but they had one very close, same size, same brand etc and $8 per Sqm dearer, plus delivery. another place was $6.50 per Sqm dearer for an identical tile, again plus delivery. So not only do Bayside tiles know what she is talking about but they are very competitive with their prices as well. Want tiles (floor or wall) or any accessories or equipment then Bayside tiles in Seaford is where I would go and have gone. Well done Linda.

My wife and I Are doing a lot of renovations to our home at present, a new kitchen is one thing being done. We decided to get rid of the cooker that is there and works perfectly well but we wanted a built in oven and gas hob. We also decided to get rid of the noisy range hood and go for a slide out one. Our new appliance are all stainless. We decided on a brand Ariston. The sales Lady at Harvey Norman Frankston recommended them and because of the great reviews on the exact models we had chosen. Not one bad review out of 37 online. They also come with a 5 year manufacturers warrantee, and they are Italian made NOT CHINESE. As I am a habitual haggler we shopped around comparing the model numbers with other retailers. Harvey Norman were cheaper than 1 by almost $400 and $50 dearer than another place BUT we went back to see the same lady because she new everything about the products, not just that brand but others as well and instead of trying to sell us the most expensive brand, which we would have paid for she recommended Ariston. Not the cheapest by any stretch, they're in the top 30% but have the best warrantee and are of a high build standard. Just by looking at them and opening doors etc, one can tell they are very well made. The service was second to none they arrived on time. We were kept informed at every step. We have since gone back to by a new fridge as well. Our old one worked well but was white so we sold it and are using our old beer fridge until the kitchen is finished. We will then do the same with our white Bosch dishwasher, sell it and replace it with a stainless one, probably Ariston. Again because of the reviews all very highly recommended by owners of the brand. If you live near Frankston and want a new appliance Go and see Ruby at Harvey Norman Frankston, you won't be disappointed.

This review is for Regal Mattresses, Frankston VIC

I purchased a mattress from Regal in Frankston. From the get go he was helpful, not pushy at all. I explained that we, my wife and I, are spending quite a lot on renovations and our budget was limited. With that he said "no problem"I can give you the mattress you want from floor stock and save you $500.00". Yes $500.00. We were wrapped as we ended up with a better mattress than our budget allowed and got it for less than we wanted to spend. the store owner at Regal Frankston is a GENUINE bloke, not someone who wants the sale at any cost. Highly recommend Regal mattresses in Frankston.
