I often stop in here to grab a bag or two of groceries. I find everything easy to find, always stocked up and the staff there are very friendly.
Sometimes the car park is hectic as the pedestrian crossing is right there at the entrance!

this is a really convenient store if you are going somewhere and intend to go over the bridge to Sandgate etc. They have a small store, but it's packed with value and some really nice deli items. I often stop here on the way to Nundah to visit friends. I never go to friends empty handed, because I stop here first.

I shop here regularly & have always found the staff very helpful , had a reason to speak to the manager recently & he was very polite .Also explained my query in simple easy to understand terms .Left feeling very positive .

On a recent visit to IGA, Clontarf to pick up a few things, I approached the checkout area, noticed that 1 checkout already had a customer with a very full trolley, having only a few things,I went to the express lane, as it was the only other checkout open. Knowing that I did have a little over 12 items (19 to be exact) I didn't think there would be a problem as there was no one else in line. The check out operator looked me up and down,signaled her obvious annoyance to her workmate, and proceeded to scan my groceries. Half way through, she commented ' I know it is a big hassle for you, but next time could you use the other checkout, as this is actually the express lane and now you've caused a queue' I was at the checkout for no more than 3 minutes and 'the queue' that I had caused was 1 person.
I left the store feeling embarrassed and humiliated and will no longer shop at that store.

i have always found this store to carry great quality fresh foods/meat. The staff are helpful and courteous. Their specials are always good value too.
