Aggressive reception staff who refuse to listen and solve simple problems, or admit to error. Drug prices that are many times more expensive than online. Go somewhere else.

Rip off. Conducted a cursory "health check" on one of our dogs (we didn't ask for a health check) and charged $86! A few minutes of work with no clear linkage to the actual vaccinations which we did ask for. We won't be going back to this vet.

I've been taking my pets to Inner South for several years now as have some others in my family. All of the vets there are incredible and so knowledgeable. They are really personal and make a genuine connection with the animals they look after. Louise who I went to with my pet rat a few times was so kind and did everything she could. Sadly my rat had to be put down and Inner South handled this beautifully, they were very kind and gentle about the whole process. Louise even sent a card to my home afterwards expressing her condolences. They are wonderful vets and have great facilities.

I have been taking my pets to Inner South Vet for about a year and was relatively happy with the service (except for an unpleasant receptionist) until recently.

We left our pet rabbits in the care of the attached cattery for 6 days and were absolutely shocked with the experience. They are very spoiled house pets and one has a chronic illness so we called every second day to check on them. Each time we were told things like "they are fine, we'll call you if there's a problem" and "they're doing rabbit-like things". However when we collected them we discovered that after the first night the "experienced" staff had separated them causing them extreme stress and also breaking the bond between them, not to mention the exposed electrical cable and the loud, large bird they were housed with that was causing extra, undue stress.

It has been a month since this experience and our house has still not returned to normal. The fighting is so bad I have even had to go to hospital for stitches after separating the rabbits.

I would never, ever recommend sending a beloved pet here!

I switched to Inner South because of Louise Grey, who is absolutely the best vet for rats ever. She always takes the time to make my rats feel relaxed and happy before she does the check-up, which makes a huge difference. She has seen my rats through a number of difficult operations, and when it's been time, she has put them to sleep with compassion and sensitivity.
The reception staff and nurses are also amazing - friendly, kind, animal-loving and helpful. I always feel like my rats are in safe hands there.

We took our injured cockatiel there after being referred by another vet. We are very happy that our bird is now on the road to recovery. The vet also gave us some good information about cockatiels in general.

I took my cat here to get his shots and he also had a minor injury. the nurses where so lovely, got him in very quickly and with minimal distress. the vet was kind and careful, you could really tell they love animals and want to help them and their owners. can't rate it highly enough.
