Jade Buddha

I love the $10 lunch specials and my fav item was the beef burger. I found it fresh and tasty. I think the price tag is attractive. The staff as prompt.

Intimate night out with the loved one or girls night out the jade buddha is awesome the food is good but the view is spectacular

Why go to the Jade Buddha? Well it is a great bar that attracts a wonderful crowd. There are views of the river. Dinner is expensive but lunch deals are great value for money.

It really is the one place at Eagle Street Pier that doesn't put on airs.

What a beautiful spot right on the river. Service didn't seem to match it's style so much. Still, the meals we ordered were fresh and delicious and no complaints with the wine... ever ;-)

A beautiful Asian-fusion restaurant and bar on Eagle street pier. I came with some work mates and ordered drinks and dinner. It was extremely packed and there was a few functions going on so the staff seemed a bit manic. Dinner came out probably 30 minutes after we ordered but was worth the wait, it was delicious (I had butter chicken and rice with plain naan bread). Would definitely visit again next time I am in town.

I didn't know what to think when we first sat down in this restaurant after walking up and down the Pier at 5:30 pm looking for somewhere to grab a light meal. I found the decor tacky, however I quickly warmed to the place after I found out that it was happy hour with $6 pina coladas (cash only at the bar during happy hour, and you can't add it to your meal bill).

We ordered entree size meals as we were after something light, and were very impressed with the quality. My soft shell crab was particularly delicious at around $16.

Overall, good food and not badly priced considering the location - however, not my favourite place on Eagle Street Pier.

Our boss took us here last night to wind down after a rough week at work. We started off with some delicious cocktails then decided we should get something to soak up the alcohol so shared the 2 platters of Japanese Tapas. Not filling but interesting. What I really love about the menu is the huge variety of dishes from all manner of internatioal cuisines. You can go Thai, Indian, Japanese or Vietnamese. There's something to suit all tastes. I ended up with a seafood laksa (the nicest I've ever had) but you can even design your own! It's amazing. Be warned that it's not cheap if you want to order something like a steak (we're talking wagyu) but these are top of the line dishes and incredibly well prepared.

My work went here recently to celebrate some success. The food was absolutely great and the waitresses were stunning and great to talk to. The whole place creates a nice atmosphere and the view onto the Brisbane River was great. A nice place to have a team lunch.

Our family group were celebrating a birthday but we didn't expect to wait well over an hour to be served after ordering, especially as we had had had to accept the rather late time when booking several days in advance. Eventually our meals arrived. The curries and Balinese Lamb were enjoyed but the steaks were cold and lacking jus or sauce so were very dry. One was so tough it was almost inedible, burnt on the outside and almost raw inside. However the three young guys in our group were still hungry after the long wait and managed to eat it between them. Don't think we'll go back when there are so many other great restaurants around the Eagle Street strip

I hired a private dining room here for my husband's birthday and overall was very happy with the experience. I was a little hesitant at first when I originally booked the room they told me their was no hire fee but then called me back a couple of nights before the dinner to let me know the girl made a mistake and there was actually a $200 fee for having your own waiter. It was too late to change venues so I went ahead with it and they gave us some complimentary wine to make up for the mistake. On the night the room they gave us was really nice and cosy. Our waiter was great. It was a busy Saturday night so there was a very very long wait on our food but it was worth waiting for. I would definatly do another function here or go for dinner anytime.

I've been here a few times for drinks and have always found the staff to be friendly. Really great atmosphere with a beautiful view of the river and Story Bridge. Cocktails are a bit overpriced but there is a fantastic selection to choose from.

I really like this place - I have been on a number of occasions for a variety of different reasons, from birthday afternoons to staff dinners and always had a really great time.
It has a great location, with beautiful scenery, particularly if you can sit outside on the balcony, and is easy to get to, there is parking pretty much underneath.
The prices are as you would expect for a city type location, but not completely over the top or anything.
They rock some pretty fabulous cocktails, and their meals are generally good. Nice share plates too if you are just going for snacks with a few friends.

I went here for my birthday with 5 girlfriends. We got a great table right on the outside of the balcony with views of the river and lights. We all had tasty meals and then they gave us a free bottle of wine as we went upstairs because we stayed on with them which was nice!

Fit out was excellent. Great feel to the restaurant. Great views, amazing food. What else could you ask for? I remember visiting this place a couple of years back but the food was outstanding, I had a salad which was presented quite well. With great positioning along Eagle street pier, it is quite a nice place to have a meal before heading out for a night on the town.

joined a friend for a casual sunday afternoon, we seated ourselves after being ignored by four different staff. took forever to place a drink order, then we got hounded by each staff member to order a meal. seafood bbq was the special of the day but very disappointing overall. considering the place was 3/4 empty i would expect staff would go out of their way to give good service and encourage repeat business

We enjoyed ourselves as we were in a group. So were not paying too much attention to service. Meals were tasty,and the view great. Dont think id like it as a couple at a table though.

We had a large party booking for 7:30 dinner and did not get served the final course untill after 10:30. Yes they were very busy, but they really should have more staff o - both chefs and service staff. We ended going to the bar ourselves for drinks. However the food was absolutely devine. cannot fault it at all. The manager was extremelly apologetic regarding the delays, and did comp us some of the drinks.

The food was hit and miss - the desert was fantastic, some of the entrees great, others just the same deep fried items you can get elsewhere for half the price. Our server was fantastic though and made the event special. I ordered the laksa as my main and it was very average, though my companions raved about their steaks. Hit and miss....

It's hit and miss, some nights it has great atmosphere, the next it is dead. The location is obviously perfect, I just want it do a little more with, it just lacks something. But overall, the view is really worth going back for.

Its very relaxing on the Friday afternoon, sipping on $5 cocktails and great views. Very nice food also. I have also been with a large group on a Saturday night and all the meals all arrived at the same time and were very tasty!

This place has so much potential to be amazing and should heat things up a notch especially due to the celebs it sometimes pulls!!! The menu is great and the food is good but not quite wow. Service is inconsistent. Sometimes is fabulous and other times it is dissapointing. All depends on who's rostered on.

I absolutely loved my Jade Buddha experience. It is stylish and welcoming. Love the lounge area. That's before I even headed outside before dinner and absolutely melted by the view. Staff are friendly. The meal and dessert was divine. I cannot wait for the opportunity to dine there again!!

i love love loved the chocolate dessert. it was the only thing i had at this restaurant, but i thoroughly enjoyed the setting. i sat outside which had views of the river, and everything rolled together was just lovely.

Jade Buddha has such a beautiful atmosphere, it's welcoming & casual, while their food is very gourmet (with prices to match), & the view over the Brisbane river is lovely in the late afternoon.
