I went with a group of 6 and a baby on a Sunday afternoon - late lunch after walking around all day. I was starving and when we were seating, it took a long time for a waitress to approach us. We waited about 20 minutes to be served, but after our orders the food came out promptly and we all enjoyed our meals. For somewhere in the city/crown this was a well priced meal with great flavours. The chips in particular were delicious. Another reason I gave service 2/5 is because I asked for bacon on the side, as I don't like bacon but my partner loves my bacon. When it arrived, the bacon was on my burger.

Approximate cost: $20

Me and my partner went here for tea last night and there were great!
They took our orders and brought our meals out really fast which was great since we were grabbing tea before we were off to see P!NK.
The meals were very yummy and the people were very friendly and helpful.
I will definitely be going back.

We've been here a couple of times and have never been disappointed.
We were seated today for lunch (Friday) straight away and both kids were given colouring books and pencils to keep them entertained. We ordered the kids cheeseburger, Cobb salad, and Chicken Focaccia. All of which were very generous servings, but of course there was nothing was left on our plates because it was so delicious.
We had 2 glasses of wine (ok, so technically it wasn't 'we'..it was me), and hubby had a beer and it was under $60. The kids shared the kids meal which was more than enough for the both of them (they are both still little), which also comes with a drink and an ice-cream sundae.
Lovely restaurant, beautiful and clean and friendly attentive staff.
Wouldn't hesitate to recommend it.

We recently went to Jimbo and Rex for a casual meal. It did take a while to find the restaurant amidst the huge Crown Entertainment Complex, but it was worth searching for.
There was a queue but the girl at the desk was very efficient and fair creating the wait list, and handing out buzzers so you knew when your table was ready.
I had the porterhouse steak which is around $32. It wasn't a huge serve but was perfectly cooked.
There wasn't much sauce but an extra (but smaller) container was only an extra $1 which is cheaper than a lot of pubs.
I would definitely go there again. The food was quick, atmosphere was pleasant and staff were friendly and efficient.

Approximate cost: $30

I've been there too and had their Footy Fever $10 special noon - 6pm. It was amazing value for Melbourne including main and drink, too much for me!

This is another of the pub style eateries in the revamped Crown Casino. The food here is a mix of pub and other styles including tex mex. We ordered quesadillas, calamari, chicken parma, and some salads. All of the servings are good sizes with more than enough for one person, or if you want to share it's just right so that you can share in a group of say four where everyone gets to try something. Prices are reasonable for the area and food quality, whilst good is nothing to write home about.

Service was okay, although somewhat lacklustre at times with the our waitress having to be flagged down by a few of us at the table and on occasion calling some other waitress to bring another napkin or more water etc. If the wait staff were a little more attentive of the tables they were assigned to, we could have increased the score.

Approximate cost: $18

I've ordered a Porterhouse steak with Badboy chips and Coleslaw. It was great: The steak was perfectly cooked medium-rare, which is what I've asked for. The price of $28 for a main meal is more than I have expected, but being a classy restaurant in Crown, it is still reasonable. The only thing that let me down in that dish was the mushroom sauce: it was salty and it lacked good flavour.

The service was really really good! We have one friend who came in late, and the service people are willing to be really patient and wait for our friend to show up first before we make our orders. They also provided really good recommendations on what to choose for our meals.

Overall, a really good experience :)

A group of 6 went along to this place for a weekend lunch at this restaurant.

This was my first visit and was impressed with the modern decor and lots of table seating. The plates were a modern design and something nicer than your traditional white plates.

I believe this is a new restaurant in Crown - situated in place of The Pub where it used to be.

The menu is quite good featuring gourmet pizzas, meats, seafood, pastas, salads, entrees - basically the type of meals you expect to find in a pub/bistro.

A few of us had the Jimbo & Rex Burger which was a fresh roll contained a juicy, well cooked thick beef patty, lettuce, tomatoe, gruyere cheese, egg, relish, bacon and a dill pickle secured with a toothpick in the centre of the top of the burger.

A small side dish of coleslaw - which was too creamy for my liking and a handful of yummy thick cut chips accompanied the burger. I think the chips were beer battered, but cannot be certain.

Really filling meal and great value for $18!

Everyone were content with their meals and enjoyed it.

Service was good, waitress seated us immediately and brought water bottle and glasses to our table within minutes of arrival.

Okay, we had to wait about 20 minutes for our meals to arrive, but in all fairness, it was a table of 6 and the restaurant was busy.

Its a very family friendly place to dine, as the restaurant has high chairs available for little ones and kids menu. However there are no change table available for babies which is a shame.

Great casual restaurant, definitely will go back again for a meal and try out the other enticing dishes.

Approximate cost: $15 to 28
