Bento box great if you can't make up your mind, or for first time visit. After this either ask waitress for suggestions or go for your favourites, salmon always a winner.

I mostly go here because the sushi is usually fresh and really nice. It can get quite busy though, especially over lunch time, but well-priced and typically fast service

Easily one of the best place to eat nigiri sushi (fish on top of rice) in Melbourne. Love the hot green tea as well. The other dishes are pretty good but you can find something equivalent somewhere else. I only go here for the sushi, green tea and desserts. The customer service here is very good and the atmosphere is pleasant. Not loud but not too quiet either.

The Sushi sashimi platters are fantastic. I love Kenzan, the service is impecable. I can't eat here often enough.

Fine dining Japanese and tends to be on a much pricier side. Despite this, the place is always busy with corporate employees. If you're going in a large group during peak lunch hour then it's highly recommended you make a booking in advance. Else for a table of 2, a wait time of 15 minutes usually without a booking unless you get there early.

I've had their bento boxes which are really tasty and very filling. The waiting staff are very softly spoken and attentive.

My partner and I went there for anniversary celebration. The furniture was dated and since my partner has back problem, she felt uncomfortable to sit on the chair. The food was above average and so as the price. The sashimi and sushi was disappointing as it was not as fresh as I read other people's reviews to claim that their sashimi and sushi were the freshest. But the oysters were surprisingly delicious. The tempura was the highlight of the meal, it was cooked to perfection. I surprised my partner by buying a bouquet of flowers and a present and hand them to the waiters before my partner arrived. They were very helpful to keep it in a safe place for me. My partner just loved it. The service was excellent and the waiters were very polite and helpful. The overall experience was good and I would visit again in the future.

Hi-end restaurant for special lunch occasions. Executives hold lunch business meetings here. The food is great, and the wine list superb. But the price is high. The $50 lunch time menu is great and filling - they're not skimpy on portion size

Not to be confused with Kenzan at the GPO, this five star Japanese dining establishment has been around for over 25 years consistenly offering high quality, Japanese dining to meet the taste of discerining Japanese officaianados! Presentation is top notch with all dishes preented as works of art and food quality matching prices. The difference here however compared to say Nobu is that they stick to traditional time honored menu items and do them very very well. No fusion, no funky styles, just Japanese in the traditon of traditional construction and presentation. Decor is traditional Japanese with pine tables and chairs or a separate room split by bamboo curtains. Wine list is reasonable.
