One of the best Italian places I have tried in Brisbane. The menu is simple and traditional. The staff are very friendly and service for lunch was quick.
I shared a calamari fritti which was cooked perfectly followed by a salami, olive and basil pizza which was delicious. I will definitely be returning to this little gem.

I have tried a lot of restaurants in Southbank but not this one, it sounds great. Thanks for sharing. :)

If you want somewhere relaxing and quiet away from the noisey eateries but not too far from the heart of South Bank, this is the perfect place for it!

If you love Italian food, this is one of my favourites in the area. The decor colours is warm and inviting (pity no air con in the summer time)

Went for Saturday lunch and ordered the mushroom arancini for entree and sausage pizza to share. Great wine choices which the waiter was more than happy to recommend. The menu is simple and unassuming.

Great way to spend a weekend afternoon with great company and yummy food!

The only times I have eaten here is lunch time - probably around 8 times now. La Via does half price pizza's for lunch and they are to die for. Very authentic, minimalist, gourmet pizzas. My favourite pizza's in Brissy.

Approximate cost: $12-15

Excellent pizzas and wine. Love the different combinations to the normal. Highly recommend the pork sausage pizza. Very nice example of complimenting flavours. Lovely staff who know there wine.

I love this new pizza place at Southbank. Lovely, fresh woodfired pizzas with a great range of gourmet toppings. The mushroom is my favourite, closely followed by the pumpkin and feta. Nice atmosphere with dark wood tones. Share a pizza between two and a couple of glasses of wine. Take away is also available.

Approximate cost: $18

a bit pricey italian restaurant. definitely a top pizza place in brisbane though. the pasta with ragu was enticing, as were any of the meat pizzas we tried. firendly staff, quick service.
