This was the first time we have been here, we walked along the Pier until we found somewhere we liked the look of the menu. Had to wait at the front desk for a little while before someone came and seated us (even though the place was pretty much empty). Sat outside with a great view of the harbour. Got asked if we wanted some water to start off, said yes.. later found out when we got the bill we were charged $8 for a bottle of water!! Food came out reasonably quick, but wasn't overly warm. Was nice and a good size meal for the price.
Plenty of seating both inside and out.

This last time I went here with my husband, it was so disappointing that we have not returned. It was a great place to go a few years ago.

I have been here twice and both times didn't really impress me. They are very expensive the Seafood Platter is around $50 per person. We had to try it and felt it was not worth the $50. I had some chicken with salad $23 - was disappointed. The entree prices start from around $16. I didn't feel that any of the meals were worth the money. My first visit here was great, but the second - I don't know what has happened them. However, the view is beautiful, Summer and Winter. I am not sure if I will try again.

I've been here for dinner twice now and enjoyed my experience both times. This is a fine dining restaurant in a premium location with a beautful interior setting. The staff here are extermely professional and the atmosphere is quiet and initmate. The food is delicious, very well presented and does not dissappint. The only cons are the potentially long waits for food to be prepared and the high prices for meals. Also I was suprised when I was charged for garlic bread which I thought was complimentary.

We had excellent service here, but the meals were expensive and drinks options (by the glass) were few. $8 for a bottle of still water is ridiculous and $8.50 for bubbles was a bit much. More vegearian options would have been appreciated and the bathrooms need upgrading. Not too busy tonight.

Approximate cost: $24

We had a very nice meal here, top quality. Beautiful location at the end of the Marina Pier, you can look out over the sea, to the shore and marina.
The service was very good, they looked after us well, returning to make sure everything was OK with our meal.
Would return again for a special occasion.

Wonderful atmosphere and the food there is high quality! Situated at the end of the promenade, you can see the beautiful view of the sea. Definitely would recommend for any high class diners.

A table of 10, early evening - we waited 45 mins for our meals, and two came out and 15 minutes later the rest came out. The service was clumsy. We had to keep asking them were our meals were. They should have voiced the delay problems. The meals were very tasty, but by then we were all starving. The salad my friend had was majority rocket ('weeds' as she kept calling it, and picked at it). My pasta dish was too creamy. The risottos proved to be popular.

Having been there a previous time, for lunch for my mother's birthday - that time my fish was too salty. So, I didn't order fish on the latest visit. Which is a shame, because it boasts about being 'big on seafood'.

Approximate cost: $18.90+

Lido's a perfect spot for a late lunch/ early dinner. Get a spot outside with the heaters on overlooking the sunset out at sea. The food is great, especially their pasta dishes, but the staff can sometimes be a bit slack getting to your table so be prepared to stamp your foot to get their attention!

The food was nice when we eventually got it but there was some confusion in the kitchen and it took a couple of attempts to get the order right. All meals were taken back because one was wrong, then it was obvious that the same two came back to us - just left under the warmer in the meantime. The menu is good and the setting is lovely.

The location of the restaurant was good but I felt the restaurant itself looked like it was half finished. The food was good not great and the menu was also satisfactory. Service was okay but they weren't jumping out of their skins to be particularly friendly.

Approximate cost: $20
