Such a lovely establishment, the interior is amazing, the staff are always friendly.

My partner and I stopped in after going house hunting in the area. A good lunch deal of $13 for a bar meal and a beer. Such a pity that there is no form of entertainment at the tavern day /or night.

I visited Mango Hill Tavern for lunch last Tuesday as part of a large group of around 50 ladies. The tables were set up so close to each other that it was impossible for some of us to get out without having to move someone else - not a good start.
The food menu looked good and the prices were very reasonable - $12.95 for a Waygu steak burger with caramelised onions and salad for example. A couple of us on my table ordered the steak burger and a few more ordered the snapper and salad. The steak was cold and incredibly tough for the two of us that ordered that. We couldn't finish it as it was quite a feat to chew each mouthful. Those who ordered the fish found it to be quite dry and it looked to me as if it was frozen and deep fried rather than cooked fresh.
I have always been keen to go there as I live at North Lakes, but there is no way that I will go back - not if I want an edible meal.

I have been here many times and always find the service is great and the food is delicious. Ordered the chicken parmigiana with a vodka and apple juice and was in front of me 5 minutes later. Have also held family outings there. Great place, great staff, would recommend. 10/10

at this place you get a great meal for 25 and it does not talk long for you to be seated and not long after the meal arrives , they are great i could not give them a bad rap like some others do i love this place and its on the way to redcliffe

My family had dinner here for my mothers birthday and i was very surprised how family friendly this venue was! It was a great casual dining experience. I love the layout and they have a fantastic play area for the kids. The play area is even soundproof so you dont get stressed about how much noise your kids are making. The food was good, i enjoyed the steak, and there was a good childrens menu. The staff were good and our food was served in a timely manner. The prices were standard for a tavern. We had a lot of fun and will definately be going back again.

Maybe I am a little harsh on the overall part, as they were so full. Took quite a bit of time to get the meals, but the quality was also lacking. Might try during the week

We had lunch here 15/8/12 they we very busy we were seated promtly and thought we would have along wait for our food, supprise it arrived fairly quickly, the meals were larger than expected and tasty. Service was quite good for the amount of people in there, will certainly go back

We have been here a few times and it doesn't seem to get any better. The food is ok, nothing to write home about and the service well that's another thing they could do some training in. Each time we went it was something else they stuffed up, forgot our kids meals, short changed my husband, cancelled reservation to name a few. It's a good place with a good kids area, so it's ashame that this happens. Won't be going back there in a hurry.

This is a nice place, but sometimes you can wait a while for your meal. I think they need to work on that, as customers were getting impatient by the time they got their meals. I won't say it wasn't worth the money, but it could have been better. There really weren't that many customers either. Maybe they should consider offering free tea and coffe.

This is the second time I've visited for lunch & I didn't think it was humanly possible but I'm more disappointed than the first!

It's a nice place with some meals being real value for mmoney. Coffee and cake for under $6 these days is good. It's a great place to meet friends and they have a good play area for kids attached to the bistro area. It's roomy and cheerful.

My daughter had her 21st birthday party there. The staff couldn't, do enough for us. They were happy for us to put up balloons, have confetti etc and cleaned up after us. We had a balcony for the party at no cost. Would recommend for group.

the food is good and in the bar area very reasonably prices - the waiter in restaurant last time was a bit snooty but overall the bar staff are fantastic

Not much to say that can praise this place, obviously double standards exist here, need to police there dress regulations all the time not just when it suites them, will not attend again, nor recommend.

Have been twice to the tavern during the week and the service was exellent. Did not have to wait long for meals and they were enormous. Exellent valve for money.

I have been there for a meal once and although we waited an hour for the food, it was quite good. Thankfully they had a children's play area to help keep my 20-month old entertained. I contacted them by email early April this year about information regarding their function rooms and packages and six months later I am still awaiting a reply. I found this very disappointing.

We enjoyed our lunch here but found the menu a bit limiting if you didn't want a big meal. Will go back again.

Just popped in for a catch up with friends and was pleasantly surprised. Felt quite comfortable They were great with the kids, and we felt very welcomed.

We have been several times now to the Mango Hill Tavern. Every time the meals and service have been exceptional. I have read a couple of not so nice reviews about this place and just can not understand how they would have happened. We have always had exceptional services. The place is very clean and the young lady who is head of house is exceptional. All of our requests have been met with a smile and no trouble. The play room is a huge hit with our 6 and 12 year old too. Meal sizes are very appropriate if not boarding too big! But please don't change that. Our 17 year ordered a light meal as he wasn't sure if he would eat a full meal - his words - thank goodness I ordered small!!! :) Prices I believe are pretty standard and I believe if you pay good money, you should have good service and food. This place delivers those standards.

Food is really good but the staff are rude and although you can book for group events there upon arrival they are not setup and double book the area and are unwilling to fix the problem even though they admit it is their fault. Upon finishing your meal they will ask you to leave even if your booking was for a set period of time because they have already taken your money. This occured on 3 seperate occasions and I would never go there again.

Hands down the best Chicken Parmy i have ever had! lovely fresh meal, huge serving and was brought out quick and hot. Great value too.

Great food and service and fantastic kids play area that is indoor/outdoor. Often have kids activities during school holidays. Good location near north lakes shopping centre too.

We love the kids playroom - it's amazing!!! It's the one place we can go where we know that we can eat in peace and the kids will be happily occupied for ages. My only gripe is the no shoes policy & the shoe cubby in the kids area; if you want kids to wear shoes all the time, please, please, please take away or cover up the shoe cubby. It is really confusing for the kids and makes it difficult to encourage them to keep their shoes on, when they're trained to take their shoes off and place them in those cubbies. Service is great - the wait staff are genuinely great people. The food is always of the highest quality and great value - particularly on Monday nights when one kid eats free with every paying adult. Facilities are always very clean.

Tasty food without having to wait too long to eat, service was friendly and the restaurant was nice and clean. Restrooms were nice and clean and well looked after.

Pleased to see the family value at this tavern - good games rooms for the kids so the adults can talk in peace without whinging of 'can we go home yet, im bored etc", great choice of meals across standard quality fresh pub sort of fare, at reasonable prices

We were looking for a good place to eat out, since the buffet at Spinnakers (Woody Point) closed. Found this place on the web and were not disappointed! It's not a buffet but there were choices for each of us and some are "hard to please". We all thoroughly enjoyed our experience there and the food was great. Large portions too. The place was buzzing, which means there are many others who think the same. We'll definitely be going back.

My family and I have been to Mango Hill Tavern many time since it opened it's doors 12 months ago now! The venue has a great kids playroom with PlayStation's X BOX and toy for the kids to keep them having fun for hours. While my wife and I can talk and enjoy the the great decor. The Staff has all ways been very friendly with the meals great value for money! My favorite meal is the 300g Rib Fillet with a Garlic Prawn topper! (it's the best) my wife likes the Grilled Barramundi. and the Kids love the wood fired pizzas. So check this place out! Yes, it does get very busy up there so it best to book! because we have kids we like to go to the first seating on a Friday/Saturday night nice and early @ 5:00pm and vacate the table by 7:00pm then we just move to the lounge area so the children can enjoy themselves. And we can have a cocktail or two!!!...

Mango Hill Tavern has made a huge improvement to dining options in the local area. The ambience, design and facilities are very modern and definately edgy. The food quality, value and presentation is the main factor for my returning patronage, although I prefer the original menu. The only let down is when making bookings for the restaurant. Each and every time we have made a booking with specific requests, they have not been met on arrival, which always leaves us with initial disappointment, especially when it's for a special occasion. But again it's the food and atmosphere that make up for it!

Ordered in line after friends, staff completely forgot to cook order. This was after our table was given to another group. Drinks very expensive . I have made 3 calls to managers for feedback and refund - no interest. Worst service ever received in hotel in Pine Rivers area. Spent $7 mill and cant try to keep customers , great ambience.
