5 stars to these guy's! Spoke to Steve on the phone and arranged for our King mattress to be removed from our bedroom on the 2nd floor of our apartment. Steve rang as promised the day before to advise us of the approximate time for pickup the next day. He also rang when they were 30 minutes away from our place, not that far off the E.T.A. promised and he and another man removed our mattress with a smile even though it was difficult to remove what with light fittings and narrow switch back stairs in the way! Reasonable price and Great Service! Thank you again :-)

After reading the customer reviews on this company I decided to give them a call. Found Steve to be very polite, helpful and friendly. Great service and very helpful. I asked them if they could help me with my new mattress as I could not handle the weight on my own. It was no hardship for them and they didn't mind. Highly recommend this company. Fantastic service. I had previously used another mattress recycling firm who required that we leave the mattresses outside. OK for singles but not when it came to getting rid of our QS bed!! Steve & his colleague were polite, on time and efficient - and happy to come inside to retrieve the mattresses. Highly recommended.

Wow! i.e. Great Service!!! I had to suddenly relocate to Sydney due to a promotion and had to leave most of my possessions to a removal company my company had arranged. I had an old bed that I had been intending to replace so decided that since I had a new bed in my present location that I was satisfied with, I decided to search online to rid myself of the old bed instead of transporting it for no obvious reason to Sydney. I found Melbourne Mattress Recycling online and rang them and was able to organise the bed pickup with minimal fuss, and being in Sydney I payed them online and the bed was picked up as promised on the nominated day via a third party I organised to let them in. They called him before they arrived as promised and everything went smoothly. Thanks again Guys. 'Wow' is the only way I can describe your great service even though i am not normally lost for words! Much appreciated.

Would not recommend business. Very little flexibility with pickup. Difficult to deal with. Very expensive and difficult to decipher the price breakdown and payment process. Man on the phone was quite demeaning and rude. I appreciate that you can call for a time the night before but that means little when the time is absolutely inconvenient and they show up an hour later than quoted anyway. Positive - they picked up the mattress and frame as requested.

These days good old customer service is hard to find. I telephoned Melbourne Mattress Recycling after hours and spoke to a very obliging and well mannered guy named Steve. Arranging my two king size mattresses to be removed from my 27th floor apartment was easy. I received a polite confirmation call from the driver giving me the precise time of pick up and the guys arrived on time as promised. It was a pleasant quick procedure and all for a very minimal price i thought taking into account the effort needed to lift the bulky items. Next time i need this kind of service i will definately be calling these guys as their service was excellent and inexpensive. Well done guys, its great to see young guys doing a great job! Disorganised. unable to provide even an approximate pick up time the day before, vague and unhelpful.

I cancelled their services when told that the items would not be collected until 6.00pm (optimistic estimate I'm sure) after waiting around all day for them to arrive.

Update - 4/4/16
The business has requested that my review be removed. This will NOT be done and stand completely by the comments made. I did phone TWICE the evening before to seek an approximate time for the pick-up. I was told that this had not been worked out on both occasions because of workload and then computer malfunction. No call back was received to advise that the time had been calculated. At 3.00pm on the day of pick-up I again phoned to find out arrival time. I was told 6.00pm or after. As I was 35kms away from my own home (the pick-up was at my deceased mother's house) this time was completely unacceptable. The fact that I was so far away from my home, and therefore unable to be at the pick-up address within half an hour, had been explained to the business owner when booking the bed removal. Therefore it is considered that if "excellent" service was being provided this factor would be taken into consideration.

I called these guys to collect an old queen mattress and they scheduled me in easily. They called about 20 minutes beforehand, came exactly when they said they would and were really friendly and efficient. And the service itself is so cheap ($35). Would definitely recommend.

Incredibly easy process from start to finish. Only $35 for my heavy queen double to be picked up. Paid online, received a call that day to arrange pickup and found Steve to be amazing to deal with. Highly recommend!!

I ordered an online collection for my old queen mattress on their website and was pleasantly surprised to receive a confirmation call within 2 hours advising that they could collect my mattress the following day. They called me 30 minutes before they arrived and were very polite and professional. I was very impressed, particularly with the level of service compared with the price charged. Thankyou again!

We had an old queen size mattress to get rid of. I rang Melbourne Mattress Recycling who were able to come and collect it the next business day. Payment was easy using their online system via paypal. They collected as arranged with no difficulties (despite our place being a little bit hard to find, and some confusing instructions about where the mattress would be left). Friendly, prompt, and great service all round.
