Just had these guys out to service our gas heater! Before they arrived we had to pay $140. The guy arrived and didn't even fully open the fire casing and then quoted $2500. to service and was packed up ready to go.....had no intention of fixing the problem and had incorrectly diagnosed the problem. I have never paid more than $350 to have this done by other companies and never had to pay a call out fee not to have the job done at the time. NEVER use these people it's a blind RIP OFF, DAYLIGHT ROBBERY !!

Price gougers & take advantage of elderly.
After getting one plumber to quote on hot water tank replacement who didnt know what size to put in, called metro. Just needed hot water. They quoted and we agreed. Later found they quoted more than double reasonable price. People need to know as this is hard earnt $ that cant be replaced !!

My daughter's revers cycle ducted air conditioner broke down. There was an error message on the screen. Son inlaw called Metropolitan Plumbing. They said it needed cleaning, cost $3000. Son inlaw said to go ahead. It did not fix the problem. They came back and quoted a further $6000 to fix the problem. Son inlaw then decided to go with another firm. On telling them the error message they immediately knew it was the fan. It had broken. They fixed the problem for a little over $1000 including the parts.
Metropliton Plumers are ROBBERS.

Overcharged ripped off today on installation of a HWS. Put you on the spot, before you can dig and do deep research. Do not go with them. $5000 spent on a $1000 unit. Not happy.

My elderly parents got quoted $5,000 for replacing 1 mtr guttering plus putting 4 mtrs of flashing trim...they B.S. that they'd have to remove a section of existing roof tiles on the garage then put them back on. For a small job on a newly built home.
But charged the $130 call out fee thru Jim's plumbing. I'm a member of the Liberal Party and contacting the ACCC about this scam, and making it go viral over Facebook & Google.

18 months ago they came to fix our broken electronic hot water system. We had the choice fix it for $600. Or replace it for $1080. We chose to fix.. now it's leaking so it needs to be replaced. Asked for a quote, so my Mrs rang. She was charged $142 for a quote. Every other plumber do it for free..
Quote price $6500.. saying you need a $1000 value which I don't have. They are at Reese plumbing $95.. my Mrs asked what happened to the $1100 price. The reply" oh we can't do that". I guess the $15k wrap on the cars now needs to be paid for.. not off my back. Another cowboy in the marketplace trying to get rich quick.. I'm so disappointed. They will never get any work from me again. I'd rather shower in cold water than having them fix my system

Metropolitan Plumbing came to help us after hours on a Sunday afternoon. The price they gave me was ok especially as it was hard to get any other companies to either answer their phone or want to come afterhours

The bright blue van arrived within a couple of hours on a Saturday to fix our plumbing issues
