I’ve been training with Michael since late January 2023 and have been nothing short of astounded at the hard work and dedication he puts into his work. The platform he uses is easy to interface with and allows for compatibility between other apps to cross share information. So far I’m down 10kg and am well on the way to losing more. He has provided me with support training face to face, dietician and nutrition support and advice, and a training routine that is easy to follow and is individualised. I had debated for a long time whether or not to pursue personal training and support and wish that I had done this a lot sooner! The benefits have been many, my energy levels have improved (which after years of shift work and night shifts had plateud), and I’m enjoying learning more about the functionality of my body and the nutrition side of things. All of these are lifelong learning tools that I can utilise for the rest of my life and continue my fitness journey!

I have been training with Michael Hermann PT and Performance Revolution online for close to 12 months. I use my local gym with the programs that is linked to a fitness app. We have not long come back from a 2 - month caravan trip without internet and Michael had downloaded workouts for the entire trip. He is very thorough and is contactable all the time. I get reviewed once a week and send him videos to get my form right.

I have been training with Michael for 3 years nearly and have gone from being not able to lift my dog to being able to bench press a barbell. Before I started I had never set foot in a gym and now I feel confident in my abilities and enjoy going.

Michael and his team provide me with 3 workouts a week, 2 of which I do on my own in the gym. I have constant support around me to ensure I am confident with the exercises

- Very professional and easy to build good rapport with.
- Supports and guides you through each workouts/sessions as you work your way up.
- Really patience, especially as a first timer.
- Knowledgeable, so ask away. You also get weekly emails with more information, especially from an evidence-based background.
- Additional support and guidance through his business from his other team members (dietitian and an online coach).

Michael helped me achieve my goal of losing 10 kg! I was about to quit the gym, I had gained 10 kg and was upset that my clothes were not fitting and that I looked dreadful in photos. After a phone call from Michael and a preliminary gym session with him, I joined him with training in February, 2019. I was a little sceptical at first, to be honest; but I signed on. One of the blockers I had with exercise was that I would start something and become injured. With Michael supervising me with every weight I lifted, I actually strengthened parts of my body that were contributing to the injuries in the first place! Michael kept me accountable and monitored my form (and attendance). I turned up to training most of the time and somewhat followed the dietary plan and I lost some of the weight, improved my shape and developed some muscles. It wasn’t that hard. However, it wasn’t until the middle of the year that I fully committed to cleaning up my eating and set goals with my training. Michael was incredibly supportive and encouraging and cheered me on. I still remember him saying to me: ‘Just follow the plan’. He is a man of very few words. By February, 2020 I had more than achieved my goals. I was seeing the trainers twice a week and hiking and walking on the weekends. When Covid 19 closed the gyms, it was devastating for everyone. Michael wasted no time and got straight to planning online sessions. Zoom was set up and away we went. I found online training to be easy and time saving. I didn’t have to drive to the gym or find a park. Michael incorporated the equipment I had at home into the training sessions. Since online training was set up, I have now joined the Core and Cardio classes twice a week as well as my strength training. I have never been fitter NOT going the gym. Now gyms are re-opening I plan to attend the gym once a week and to train online three times a week. It’s really a time efficient way of training.

There a gazillion Personal trainers out there, but I chose Michael.

Not just because he is the consummate professional and has so much knowledge in his field, but because (even when I wasn’t his client for years), he noticed if I hadn't been to the gym for a while, and would call me to see if I was okay.

That is what sets Michael apart from all the rest.

I have had a range of personal trainers over the last 5 years and after changing gyms, started training with Michael a year ago. He is by far the most knowledgeable and professional PT I’ve ever trained with. Michael really took the time to understand my goals and to create a program that worked for me. This includes fitting in around a pretty hectic work schedule. He also supports the training with some awesome resources that increase your knowledge of training, stretching and nutrition....and has some seriously killer playlists!!!!!. I have seen amazing results in the last year and if you are looking for a awesome personal trainer I definitely recommend Michael.

I cannot praise Michael Hermann's PT highly enough! I have been consistently going to the gym and working with PTs for 8 years now but I have to say that Michael has had the biggest impact on my results than anything in that time. His skill level surpasses that of any of the trainers I have worked with. The sessions are really thought out (they really are full body workouts) and Michael provides consistent variety which means I stay motivated and most importantly sore! I have never once felt like I wasn’t making progress or the exercises were getting mundane or weren’t challenging enough. The flexibility of the sessions especially the online options means it is so much easier so I have never been more fit, more motivated or seen results so quickly. The product provided by Michael is a completely holistic program. I love it!

I took classes with Michael at Performance Revolution for over a year in 2019-2020. He runs a professional team, is a knowledgeable teacher, and an excellent coach. Michael has a quiet and authoritative manner when training. He readily and ably explains as much detail as one is in a position to absorb for any exercise, and judges well how hard to push during a training session. That said, he ultimately leaves the impetus on you to drive your own training and learning.

I am in the Defence Force, and I greatly appreciated that Michael was unendingly accommodating of my sometimes erratic schedule. He worked multiple absences of several weeks into my program and billing, and then adapted to COVID restrictions smoothly, always making the administration effortless for me. I also came from a position of having done no strength training before, and was very skinny! Through a mixture of a nutritional focus, incremental training, and education, Michael and his team have set me on a sustainable path to continue to train and improve, and was a great person to start this process with. If I were still based in Brisbane I'd still be training with Michael.

Met Mike end of 2019 when he introduced his new class... I joined his group training sessions with functional training/high intensity circuit format. (I) and participants were still able to interact with each other and with ample coaching and corrections from Mike especially during fatigue period. Most materials cover multi-muscle groups use which is excellent in burning calories. There are A LOT of options to gradually build strength, mobility and endurance - from reduced range of movement (limited reach) or just “go all out”... Definitely caters for all levels - depending on the level of individual. Mike covers each aspects from demonstration, corrections and intensity adjustment tightly. Well done Mike for developing nicely structured class.

Michael was recommended to me by a trusted source as I was having trouble finding a trainer that I could click with. Dubious at first, it didn't take long for me to feel very comfortable as a result of Michael's patient, mature and personable attitude towards helping me achieve my desired strength and fitness goals. I have been training with Michael for several months now and I feel confident in Michael's vast fitness, anatomy and strength knowledge, particularly his attention to detail in regards to technique and correcting my form to get maximum benefit. Michael is always punctual and keen to move into the sessions which really helps when I'm not feeling so enthusiastic. Before I came to Michael Hermann PT and his team, I had on some level given up the hope of getting my dream body back. I’d been out of shape and gaining weight for over 6 years, trying and failing at various programs on my own and feeling pretty defeated about it. So becoming my sister’s bridesmaid in her upcoming wedding was the catalyst I needed to bite the bullet and seek professional help in this area of my life, fast!
Once I took on Michael, before I knew it I was being bombarded almost daily by different members from his little fitness squad. Suddenly my life was immersed in nutrition, education and training - but I loved it! What used to be a chore that I’d dreaded became fun and addictive. I realised what was missing before I’d engaged Michaels personal training - direction in both the gym and the kitchen.
Dylan is a wealth of knowledge on nutrition with practical suggestions and advice. He genuinely wants for you to understand his recommendations so that your relationship with food changes forever, rather than just going through the motions of crash dieting and shortcuts for fast results.
The collective expertise of these guys plus Omar too is at such a high standard. They’re completely in sync with each other communicating regularly about me - my goals, training and behaviours - and instinctively know the formula that’s going to help me. This is honestly rare to find in an oversaturated market of health and fitness gurus.
I’ve been training with Michael for 4 months now and have lost about 8kg, plus i’m gaining tone. What’s even more valuable than this though is that I actually feel empowered and confident within myself to keep the weight off as they’ve taught me well.
So now I’m just grateful that I had the foresight to not ignore the “free PT” msg I received from Michael at the beginning of this journey. I know I wouldn’t be on the way to achieving this lifelong goal today without the guidance of he and the team! Thank you guys - it’s been such a pleasure working with you all!

I have been training with Michael for about 3 years. Michael is great at developing strength and conditioning programs with lean body composition being the goal. Michael is very knowledgeable about all aspects of training including nutrition. Michael and the performance revolution team are results driven. Very good trainer. I am over 60 and I find the resistance work and the boxing is first rate. I have had several other trainers over the years. They have usually been good but Michael is clearly the most competent I have had. He hasn't promised me a beach body by Christmas but I feel a hell of a lot fitter and stronger after 9 months . Motivation is my problem and Michael has gently pushed me beyond my comfort levels. I do some solo training now that my confidence and fitness levels are up, but I also do three times a week with Michael . Patrick white

I would highly recommend Michael Hermann Personal training and Performance Revolution. Michael and his training methods, professional advice on nutrition and training were instrumental in getting my fitness back on track. Under his guidance I was able to gain strength and endurance that I hadn’t had since my twenties. I gained lean muscle and energy that I need to keep up with a busy life with a young family and career. I’m the fittest I’ve been in my life at aged 43.

Michael has been my personal trainer for a little over 3 years. The body transformation that I have achieved in that time has been incredible. I lost 19kg in the first 6 months and with a focus on strength and conditioning I have added 9kg of muscle over the next two and a half years. Michael has kept me motivated and focused, and his attention to technique is a big driver in me being able to hit my targets and continuously move forward. I would recommend Michael and the Performance Revolution team to anyone looking for a personal trainer to assist with body transformation and strength training.

I am 43, I have been training with Michael for 15 weeks and I am amazed at what I have achieved with my strength, fitness and overall body transformation. Michael uses a variety of training techniques and weights that work to condition and strengthen all parts of the body, and I find that this keeps me motivated and engaged. Diet and nutrition is also a big part of Michael’s program and he has kept me focused on eating a wide variety of good healthy natural foods. I would recommend Michael to anyone who want to improve their strength, fitness, body shape and general wellbeing.

I put my trust in Michael to help me achieve my fitness goals, and he did not let me down. I dropped 15kg in 12 weeks by following the recommended diet and exercise.
He incrementally helped me replace bad habits for healthy habits with my exercise and my eating. He has a wealth of knowledge on nutrition and fitness. I had the motivation to loose weight, but I lacked accountability and encouragement which Michael provided.
You will not regret training with Michael. If you follow his advice you will reach your goals.

I have been training with Michael for 2 years. I know I would have never achieved the level of fitness and strength (and loss of 6% body fat!) if not for the personal attention Michael has provided in both my training and nutrition. Michael is always encouraging and has a vast knowledge in both fitness and food. Exercise does not feel like a struggle or a chore with Michael. I would highly recommend him to anyone.

Training with Michael has honestly been the best thing I have ever done for my fitness. Since I started training with Michael I have achieved such great results. I have improved my fitness and strength and am leaner, healthier and more confident. I have even competed in a number of natural body sculpting competitions as a result of my training. Something I never could have dreamed of doing before. Michael is very knowledgeable and pays particular attention to my nutrition as well as training. I am a vegetarian and Michael has really helped to ensure I am getting the right balance of nutrients to achieve my individual, and changing, fitness goals. Weekly nutritional goals and reviews of my diet keep me accountable and those changes to my diet have become my lifestyle. My training program is also varied regularly and I always look forward to my next session. Overall Michael shows a high level of motivation and commitment to helping me achieve my goals and has far exceeded my expectations of personal training. He provides an excellent level of support and is always willing to answer my questions and gives me encouragement to get me through any challenges I'm facing. I would highly recommend Michael to anyone and I look forward to continuing to train with him as I prepare for my next competition.

Michael is a fantastic trainer; from our first introductory session I immediately felt confident in his ability to help me achieve my goals. I am doing my first natural fitness model competition this year and Michael has definitely put me on the right track with my nutrition, training, and I am thoroughly enjoying working out again after a long time away from a regular workout routine! He consistently provides me with continual support and motivation at the gym and through regular contact during the week to 'check-in' with my goals for each week. He provides a fantastic strength program, I am seeing some great results already, and I am feeling very confident that I will be ready to step on stage in a couple of months!
