My husband and I ate there a few years ago and what I remember most was the kilpatrick oysters - they were horrible. Basically an oyster in a pile of BBQ sauce. After we scraped the sauce off we managed to eat the oyster. The main course was OK but nothing to rave about. It was such a shame because the place is set up beautifully and has real character. We won't be rushing back.

Main meals were good, lettuce was slimy and when we told the attendant she did'nt seem to care. Service was slow. Not a place that we would return to

Love this place myself. Nice place to catch up with friends for a drink or a meal especially in this cold winter day. Staff are friendly.

Not too bad a place to go, but may not be as popular if there were more places like this down south. The food is ok but not cheap, you are paying for the fact it is an irish pub similar to ones in the city. The outdoor area is beautiful, have been there a few times and nice on xmas eve when it is packed. But there is no fence between the pub and south rd, so cant really relax with the kids there.

In the warmer weather, the outdoor area is a really lovely place to meet up for a drink or a meal. The service is OK, not great and the meals are also just OK.

The food was good and plenty of it; atmosphere was great until it came to time for the nightclub. If you are there to dine, leave before the nightclub starts.
I have been a few times for after work drinks in the front bar which is very cosy and nice however, the staff can be very rude and will always serve the 'regulars' first, even if you have been waiting and you can end up waiting quite a while. Being a theme pub, the drinks are priced similarly to theme pubs in town which is too expensive for a local pub/ meat market IMO

I've been here when it turns into a sort of night club, and it becomes a real meat market. If you're dining, I suggest you leave before then.

I enjoyed my meal, i though it was good value for money and the service was very fast. I found the venue to be family friendly. I enjoyed the irish pub it had great charm about the place.

My last experience at that place has ensured me that I won't be back there for a while. The place itself looks fantastic. The wood and artifacts inside gives the place a real irish feel and the garden outside is fantastic on a summer night. The clientele as well as the rude bar staff unfortunately let the place down.

Approximate cost: $15-20

Great food and great service, a couple of nights ago my most recent visit I enjoyed the Roast Lamb which was cooked well and tasted great, it came with roast potato and pumpkin and broccoli, carrot and cauliflower. Was a good feed. I found the drinks a tad overpriced with a Glass of Coke, a Glass of OJ and a glass of Ginger Ale coming in at $9.80.
