Wanted quote for Rollers Shutters / sales guy told me , they would be dearest and that the 50% discount advertised on website only if I gave him order today ( No am getting other quotes and the website stated discount available till April .
He got a bit agro at that and I asked him to leave , with him walking away shouting abuse . ALL THIS IN 10 Minutes !!!!!!!!!

We booked a modern group sales representative for a quote for Thursday 25th Nov 2021 at 6.00pm.
We are still waiting for them to show up or call to advise of delay.
Needless to say that we won’t be getting our indoor shutters through their services. ( Or should I say lack of services).

Bramalco/Modern Group took over the warranty of my pergola installed by GottaGettaGroup. I have been trying to get them to repair a water leak from 2019. They send "contractors" who only look at the issue but never come back to repair the leak. i will never engage this company

BEWARE overpriced and roller shutter panel box is bubbling and rusted

I am sick about my whole experience with Bramalco/Modern group. The actual product and post-installation customer service I have received after spending $10,500 on outdoor blinds has been disgusting.

Firstly, the product that was installed was not what was specified in the contract. One of the 5 blinds was an electric blind- when we specifically asked for all manual blinds (which was in the contract).

Secondly, the salesman explained that the balance of payment would be taken out once the blinds were installed 'and we were happy with them'. The full balance was deducted the very next morning, without so much as a courtesy call to see if we were happy.

In addition, the salesman did not discuss flashing with us, leaving us with huge gaps between the blinds and the roof.

On approximately day 3 post-install, two of the blinds started to come out of their tracks. The electric blind hasn't had one day where it hasn't jammed.The fabric is saggy and a far cry from their promotional pictures.

The installer has been out to fix some of the issues but some of these issues reoccurred the next day- some were basically 'irreparable'.

I have been chasing Bramalco/Modern Group since the blinds were installed on 21/07 and have received very little response from the staff at this company by way of phone or email. When I have received correspondence, the content has not addressed all my concerns. They are very much tiptoeing around the main issues. For example, they haven't addressed the balance payment or contract breach as yet.

It feels like they sent the installer back to fight their battles, poor bloke. My main issues don't even relate to the installation.

Anyway, I am waffling now.

The long and the short of it is, I would never use this company for anything in the future- and would strongly discourage you to do the same.

I am looking forward to following up this issue to my full satisfaction, no matter what that involves. Unfortunately, Bramalco/Modern group have proved to be incapable of truthful sales, supplying an accurate product, meeting contractual obligations or providing any level of customer service.

The worst company in the construction industry. I've already bought roller shutters for my entire property yet they keep calling to sell me more! Where do I put them? On top of my current ones? Quality of the Blinds are great (as they are not made by Modern Group) but Salesman was pushy and now I do regret going through Modern. After sales service with some issues was like pulling teeth also. Look elsewhere

We had a number of roller shutters installed on our house a few years ago and are happy with them. However, the company that sold and installed them keep harassing us regularly with phone calls, trying sell us more. We have repeatedly told them we are not interested, please leave us alone and please do not call us. Despite this, they still call and harass us to buy more of their crap on a regular basis. We regret ever buying anything from moderngroup.com.au. They have been nothing but trouble for us. Five years later, they are still hassling us over the phone despite repeated requests to be left alone. Avoid, avoid, avoid.

I have just purchased my very first ever SOLAR panels, I had other quotes from other suppliers, but they just waffled on and did not answer my questions. With all my queries answered I went ahead with the purchase.

A door to door salesman representing Bramalco was in our area and we agreed to make an appointment for another salesman to come and give us a quote on one roller blind. The guy was quite nice and knew his job and explained all the details to us. All went well until be told us the price of over $1500. Being pensioners, this quote was well out of our price range. He did try and negotiate with his boss to lower the price, which we appreciated, but it was still way past our bugdet. We have no doubt that the quality of the shutters is exceptional, as we had already purchased several other shutters from an opposition company several years ago before I retired so we can vouch for the quality. But at this time in our life we were not prepared to outlay such a sum and when he realised that the sale was not forthcoming, his attitude changed markedly. It seemed as if he could not get out of our house quick enough. If you get a knock back, fella, live with it and get used to it, it probably won't be the last.

We had two roller shutters put on our house. The guy that came out to explain it to us was very down to earth, and not pushy and gave us all the info and demonstration that was needed. Was an easy and non-stressful deal. The roller shutters are great quality and have been a big improvement for our house. They offer a discount if you put a sign out the front, but our sign blew away the first night it was there, but Bramalco were ok with that.
