Good old Morphet Arms. Use to have a few beers and put a couple of bets on at the sports bar. Nothing fancy, but and ok place for a few drinks. Outdoor section is nice with a meal

We dined here with our parents on Easter Monday and therefore were not able to use our Entertainment Book voucher. However Seniors discount of $2 each was available. As we entered the service was excellent with a waitress telling us where our table was. At the entrance is the ordering counter and the tables are some distance away. There were no menus at the table but when we asked they were given to us. The full menu and specials were on boards at the front entrance. As Pa is 92 years old and frail it was impossible for him to return there to order and we had to go back and forward with the meal ideas. This is a very poor set up (a board should at least be on the wall in the dining area). My husbands beef schnitzel was enormous, tender and delicious ($20). My chicken cordon bleu and Ma's was delicious ($22.50). Pa was reasonably happy with his curried prawns. I was disappointed with the salad bar. I will not rush back to this venue as there are many other great hotels offering similar food that have table service and better environments.

Visited this hotel for a friends' gathering. The hotel is still undergoing renovations and so the dining area was very cramped. Meal ok, but the drink staff were very muddled with many mistakes and change and drinks given to the wrong people. This was a disappointing lunch. Not up to what I have experienced in the past here where everything was great. Also the long banquet seating is not appropriate where there is a salad bar.

Met with friends here for a Christmas get together. Found the hotel is being refurbished so the dining area was very crowded. The food was quite nice but did not enjoy this visit as much as I have at other times unfortunately. May improve when work is finished.

Another outing to this nice hotel. It is always busy and the staff are friendly, the service and the menu is great. Had fish and chips this time and thoroughly enjoyed the meal and our friends company. It is always a reliable choice when choosing a meal venue.

We've been to the Morphett Arms many times and I find it hard to go past their chicken schnitzel. Unlike many hotels, theirs is real chicken breast, as against the manufactured ones often found. The difference in taste is noticeable. Their salads and chips are great too.

Approximate cost: $15.50

Always happy with the Morphett Arms meals

Didn't like the fact that I had to pay an extra dollar for an extra piece of bread, I mean shouldn't that come free with a free salad bar?
The meals were okay and decent priced, I got the leg ham with a side of veggies and my partner got some lamb dish. It was sort of weird because the leg ham was thinly slice like those deli slices at Coles or Woollies. Its interesting to know that there was 3 independent bars at the one location.
Service was nothing special, but expected.

We have been here a number of times, but the last visit was really disappointing. Only one vegetarian meal (out of approximately 25 meat meals) and when I asked for the cheese to be removed, was spoken to quite rudely. Expensive pub fare and average salad bar. Good parking was the one positive!

Approximate cost: $22

traditional pub grub at reasonable prices. Service was good, meals came out in good time. Kids get a goody bag and can draw on the paper table cloth to take home. All in all pretty decent.

I found it to be pretty standard pub fare at good value prices. My schnitzel was a bit rubbery but not too bad. If you have a shopper docket you can get an extra $4 saving, so a free drink!

Approximate cost: $18
