due to the fact that i have been a customer of the national Australia bank for a long time i have found that some of their staff ARE RUDE AND ARROGANT TOWARDS THEIR CUSTOMERS ESPECIALLY WHEN THE CUSTOMER FINDS THAT THE BANK HAS RIPPED THEM OFF AND REFUSES TO PAY BACK THE MONEY

Approximate cost: $40.

I am a fairly new customer with NAB. I am impressed so far with their service & product. I have a debit card and am happy about not having to pay monthly account keeping fees - unlike most other banks. NAB actually froze my accounts as they detected a virus on my home computer, I am actually quite grateful for this for security reasons! I'm surprised none of my other banking institutions took this precaution!

Approximate cost: $0

I have an account with the Nab and I am not that happy. Their service ranges depending on the representative I speak with. Initially when I dealt with them in the beginning I was very happy with my decision, but my thoughts unfortunately have changed to uncertainty.

I have banked with the Australian National Bank for almost 3 years. The experience with them is alright. Nothing is very bad, nothing is very good, either.

Have been using the Nab service for last 8 yrs. the phone service has been lately improved. The phones are now answered in 4 minutes. if there is a longer waiting period you are advised in advance.

I bank with the NAb and also have my loans with them. They are as good a bank as the next guy. Customer service is what can be expected froma major bank, it is what it is.

NAB customer service is pretty good and much better than a lot of the customer services out there. Once I cashed out $20 but forgot to take it and they refunded back to me. Also I had disputed a transaction in which they were quick to look into.

I called the call centre to enquire about a $30 fee that was taken out of my account just to be told that the fee was a mistake..... but ( according to the bank) somehow it works out that the extra fee was my fault ( even though it's their mistake) because i took out my money too early!! The customer service lady then suggested that i leave my money in the bank and that while they would fix the fee this time in the future they will not refund the fee if it happens again. How can a bank refuse to fix it's own mistakes and then blame the customer for using the accoount as it's supposed to be used.

it happened to me.. the fee is charged for overdrawing yr account.. i went shopping at safeway and at the time thought i had enough money in my account, the transaction went thru. turns out i wouldve been $20 short.. had it not gone thru..may have turned out to be embarassing becoz it would have been declined and i wouldve had to leave my groceries.. the fees can be reversed but as a one off.. if you have more than one on the same day.. they can do a 'one off' reversal for all the fees charged on the one day... lesson.... always check the balance before u go shopping!
