Celebrated my dad's 60th birthday and we have a fantastic night, great food, good service and excellent entertainment. We couldn't fault anything. Music was loud but it is a Greek tavern with traditional greek dancing. Everyone loved the smashing of the plates and we would definitely consider this tavern again for our next function.

Decided to go here with family after reading a couple of the previous reviews. I thought this was a great restaurant to meet up with family, such an extensive menu. I settled on the Pastitio while other family members tried the meat mixed grill and the seafood mixed grill. It works out cheaper if it is ordered for 2 people. They also do banquets, might try that next time. Everyone loved their meals - especially the seafood. We finished off with coffee as we could not fit in any dessert. Found the meals to be reasonably priced, generous portions and we experienced a very friendly atmosphere. A place we will return to, as will our families living in Melbourne. They couldn't believe they had not already tried this restaurant. No complaints, had a great time.

My husband took me here for my birthday dinner. It's a great restaurant with a nice atmosphere. The food was fantastic and very generous serving sizes! My husband and I had the banquet (which I thought was quite reasonably priced at $33 each) as we figured we could try several different things then and it was all really yummy, the dips were delicious and the chicken and lamb were scrumptious. The only downfall would have been some of the staff just didn't look like they wanted to be there and we ended up having to wait for quite a while for our dessert. Other than that great place and we will be going back.

Wanted to try something different and decide to go try this greek restaurant after being recommended by a friend who lives in the area, so we went with her and her husband. My husband and i shared a meal of shashliks and they wern't too bad while my girlfriend and her husband shared the seafood mixed grill. Prices were quite expensive for what they offered. For greek food lover this would be a great place but i think i will just stick to my turkish shops for my souvlakis

Absolutely lovely greek food. I could eat the dips all night. The meat special is great value for money and you are welcome to take home whatever you don't finish. If getting a banquet then you get better value between 2 people. I have found that when in a large group they give you a lot less food.

I have been here several times with friends, i usually get the kebab meat, dips, salad buffet. It's filling and they always bring you more dips and bread out without further charge. The plate smashing is fun! It always feels like a party here cause the place is so big and jam packed! Also BYO wine! Can't beat it!

Fantastic I take my kids all the time they love smashing the plates yeah music is loud but they do take breaks need atmosphere right? Such a great family restaurant 25 years wow we always get the banquet around 30 ph I eat out a lot and some places charge that for one main meal well done guys keep up the good work

Been here twice. First time we ordered prawns and they had gone off or something as they stunk. I gave it to the waitress to smell and she scrunched her nose, apologised and took them away. Now if I hadn't pick it and my kids ate them I can only imagine how sick they would've been! Second time was a baptism I attended and again not too please and was paranoid to eat their food incase I got sick!! Don't recommend there's much better out there!

The place to go if you have a big group and can eat lots. Banquet is more than enough to eat and very tasty. Byo wine or buy there. A bit noisy Saturday night, go during the week for a quiet dinner.

Severly disappointed. Work lunch, preordered to be ready at 12:30. We still waited another half hour for the first meal to come out. Lunch deal meals were large for $11, but meat was a bit fatty. Waiter was rude and obnoxious, barely listened to our requests. Humiliated one of my colleagues and told some others to 'sock her one' when noone was looking. Extremely unprofessional. Definitely not how great I remember this restaurant to be at all. Lost at least our business (15 people) as none of us will ever return back for that kind of service!
