The first time we went, the food was good (not great) but the service was sooo bad. A manager even abused a waitress in front of everyone for no reason. The second time we went, the service was still soooo bad and this time the food matched it!! The salad was old, the Moussaka was bland and my husband's food was inedible. We complained but they just didn't care. Maybe we've gone on 2 bad nights, but we won't be back for a third try.

I love getting dinner from here, but most times, we get take away. It is cheaper take away. Great prices. Huge souvalaki for a great price. Restaurant is good too, but can be a little noisy on the busier nights - do book on a Friday and Saturday.

We went to Nikos on the recommendation of Womow raters and we weren't disappointed!! They accommodated my gluten free request with no fuss, and the food was of good quality and great quantity! We did have to wait for a while for our food, but once it started, there was no stopping it! Great banquets and they do take away.

Approximate cost: $20-30

Generally the food is nice. Live music played on the weekends. Traditional Greek food always trustworthy. Normally no need to book, if they can fit you in they will.

Food is good. Salad was fresh and crisp. But waitress service is crappy. Can be slow getting food out. Went there for a family birthday one time, there was hardly anyone else in there but it took them an hour to get our food out. We had hungry kids waiting a long time.

No booking: we just rocked up & even though the place was busy, the waitress happily grabbed a jug of iced water & found us a lovely table with window views & overlooking the muso's too. We had a great night. Niko's is everything a Greek restaurant should be: loud Greek music, people smiling, eating, laughing, dancing. The portions are extremely generous & the food is freshly prepared in the open kitchen. The young staff are full of energy & enthusiasm & are happy to guide you through the menu if Greek fare is unfamiliar. You can check out the menu on the website before you go.

Loud Greek music welcomed us at the door and continued all night. Only Greek dancing the whole evening. Nothing special about the food in the banquet. We waited an hour after asking for our coffee and sweetmeats to be served. A belly dancer arrived at 9.45pm and was well worth the visit.

Nikos is a great Greek Restaurant with good music and has a great atmosphere on New Year Eve nights. It also good to get takeaway which are a good price.

Have found the quality has deteriorated, especially the meat packs for the takeaway souvlakis. Less than a third was edible the last two times ordered, the rest being packed with gristle and fat. Slightly better if eating in.

Approximate cost: $15

Always greeted with a smile, the restuarant is very well set out and the food is absolutely delicious! Niko's Tavern also offer a take-away service which is fantastic for people on the go!

Approximate cost: $12.00
