The dumplings here are amazing. Menu has a wide range of meals, it is about 10 pages long.
The speed or the service is not great, but staff are friendly. Often waiting 30 minutes for take away for 1 meal, even after being told it would only take 15 minutes. Hard to get anyone to help you when waiting but the meal is well worth the wait.
Vegetarian Dumplings are my favourite. Come in servings of 15 and are only $9.

Approximate cost: $10

THE best dumplings i have ever had! always have the chicken and prawn fried/steamed dumplings and they never disappoint. The service is atrocious but we are used to that now because the dumplings make up for any ill feelings we have against it. Must try and must get in early, especially during lunch times

Approximate cost: $11

Good value food but quality is what you expect for the price, good but not top notch. Do not come here expecting great service, especially during lunch when thay are usually very busy here. Good place for cheap filling chinese dumplings but more for quick eats and takeaway nothing else.

Awesome value, yummy food, especially the chicken and prawn dumplings. The place is always busy especially at lunch times so there can sometimes be a wait, which can be tricky at lunch times to be able to eat in your lunch break.
This said though the food is worth the wait if you have the time and the prices are great value especially the dumplings! Extremely good value. $11 for 15 chicken and prawn or even cheaper for other varieties. Despite the wait and sometimes lax service I will keep going back for more

As one of these reviews said its not the place for a business lunch or a quiet place for a meal, gets very busy, cramped and noisy. In saying that the food is great, there is sometimes a bit of a wait firstly for a table then the food around peak times but great tasting dumplings and cheap as well. Serves are fairly big which is good, i would reccomend this place with a bunch of work mates for a lunch or afterwork drinks and a group of your mates before hitting the town.

I've lost count of the amount of times I have been to this place, as it is near my work, I probably make my way there once a month.
The first thing I need to highlight is that this not a place to go if you expect to get good service or be able to have an intimate dinner/conversation. This place is in existence purely for us to enjoy the food. It is fair to say that you only actually pay for the food and any service you receive is purely coincidental and should be treated like an added bonus.
The food is amazing. That is why the majority of my colleagues and I will sit there patiently waiting 30 + minutes to our meals, or wait in a line to get a table, or suffer through them losing our order. The food is that good that we simply don't care about the service, because at the end of it all, we get to eat these delicious dumplings.
I have stuck to the same staple since I started coming here. One serve of Chicken and Prawn Dumplings ($11 for 15) and one serve of Special fired rice ($11.50). This is always shared between two and it is a struggle to get through it all.
Not a great spot for those who don't like a communal sort of atmosphere, as the tables are quite close together. Also not a place to go if you are wanting a 3 course meal.
There is very little that could stop me from coming back to this place every month or so. I'm quite a fussy eater, but it is hard to fault such tasty and cheap food.

The food is cheap and nice. Come here a lot for lunch breaks and after work. Have found the service to be extremely slow, have even sat there for 20 minutes and not been able to get the attention of any staff member. When it's quiet it's a good place to get cheap dumplings.

Approximate cost: $10

The food is certainly tasty enough (dumplings are a speciality), and the price is certainly right, but precious little else is about this restaurant. I've eaten here twice and wont be going back again. The decor is cheap, dated, and nasty. The crockery is chipped (I may be wrong, but I thought it was against health regulations to serve food on chipped crockery?). Its always cramped (which I guess is testament to its popularity), and the service is a bit on the ordinary side. Go here if you are really, really hungry and all you want is chinese food. If you even remotely feel like you could go some other kind of cuisine, do yourself a favour and do that instead.

Approximate cost: $15

Found this little place by accident. Great dumplings (steamed and pan fried) with vinegar & chilli + a huge range of authentic Chinese dishes. Meals come out quickly and are delicious. Icy cold Tsingdou beer also flows smoothly down the throat. I have walked past at lunchtime & the place is very busy with workers having a quick bite.
If your in Melbourne & like dumplings - I highly recommend this restaurant. Great value and handy location too - very close to Flinders St station.

Approximate cost: $11 - 20

I've eaten here with my work colleagues a few times and cannot believe how great the dumpling dishes are! The price is fantastic as well to cater for a group of 4 or more is not costly at all compared to other dumpling places I've been too.
