Stopped by here as we had been driving around and wanted something small to fill our stomachs and found this fish and chip shop. We ordered chips with gravy and it was only $1.50! We expected a tiny bag/bucket of chips in return but we were shocked! We received a medium sized bag which would be equivalant to a large chips at mcdonalds & gravy all over these hot crispy, perfectly seasoned chips! since then I've been sure to drop by in the area and buy these chips & gravy as they were unbelievably good and such great value for money too! If you're in the area you should try the chips and gravy or try something else and review it :)

We were at a friends place in an unknown suburb and had a craving for pizza so we found the closest one & walked in. The guy there didn't even give us 1min to read the menu peacefully until he asked 'what are you ordering?' Not to be rude, we asked if they had a similar topping called 'the Lot' and he pointed at the menu board and explained they have 2 kinds, one with onion and one without. We chose the one with onion and paid for it and waited 10mins. Once the pizza was ready we started eating as we were driving home... the first taste I got in my mouth was burnt onion.. & then numerous meetings with olives! Don't get me wrong, I like an olive or two but this slice had at least 5 olive halves on it.. my partner who doesn't like olives had to pass me his pizza slice so I could pull out all the olives and burnt onions.. first time I've had a pizza with burnt onion!!! Not good! The crust was ok as it was still a hot pizza but we enjoy a cold pizza now and then so we had a slice a couple hours later at home & the crust was just a big fail. It was soggy on some parts, others was still crispy.. If I had a choice & was back in the area, I would of walked a few shops down and tried the other pizza shop!!

We went here for lunch one day with 3 staff members.. at first we thought we were in a shopping centre type of food court restaurant, as the store is very small and there are only a few tables & seatings. We were able to remove some old bowls and find a small table where we squished in to eat. It took about 7mins for the food which you go and pick up and bring to your table. we ordered duck noodle soup and wonton soup. One spoonful of the duck noodle soup and I was in heaven! it was unbelievablly good... if the atmosphere was nicer we'd go there more often however by lunch time in the CBD, the small no. of chairs are taken in an instant... so when we finally found a table for 3, we sat down and picked scoffed down our noodles. We all agreed how tasty it was and I will definitely return with ONE friend as I fuond having 3 of us was difficult as it is...

We brought our friend who missed her singaporean food and ordered 3 popular dishes - Hokkien Prawn Mee, Char Kway Teow and Chuuee Kueh. THe first dish came out great we all had a taste and agreed it was very good. Then the 2nd dish came out which we were abit dissapointed but not as dissapointed as we were when the last dish arrived. it was nothing like what you get at most singaporean restuarants.. an extreme fail of the dish in my eyes. Apart from the food experience, atmosphere is nice and the service was reasonable, not too slow.

We bought pizza here one night after taking our dogs for a walk. The first thing that we found was the place smelt great, which is why we came in to order. Then before you know it, the pizza was ready, a supreme which was great. the meat was just enough, pastry was just right, crispy yet soft when you chew.. my dog usually doesnt try to eat our pizza's but this time he had some of the shredded ham & pastry. Decent pizza with a great service.

I've been here a few times to grab the morning coffee as well as for my work colleagues who ONLY drink coffee from this store as they believe it is the best. I am mostly a tea drinker myself, however sometimes you need that pick me up and coffee always does that! It's quite pricey being around $8-10 but it's worth it.

Breadtop has a large selection although if I get there just after lunch my fave bread loaf (pork floss) is almost always out of stock! their pastries/breads are always fresh and I have not had one item that I didn't enjoy eating!
