This thai restaurant is a bit more expensive than most of the restaurants on gouger street but come prepared because the thai food is simply amazing, if you want a night with great food for a casual eat or a special occasion this is great, I love the green curry here

Nu Thai represent!!

This place is a little pricier than some other Gouger street restaurants. But Nu Thai serves the best Thai food in Adelaide.

Every single dish we ordered was delicious, world-class and perfectly seasoned.

I don't eat chilli, and the waiter was incredibly helpful and informative and made sure our food was exactly like we wanted. In fact, the wait staff, across the board, were utterly charming and friendly.

Just the most delicious, perfect, food. The drunken noodles were actually super awesome - noodles can be totally boring at many restaurants. The crispy beef was so morish that we wished we'd ordered more than one. The duck rolls were so tender they fell apart in the mouth and the duck salad was very mild, minty and layered with subtle flavours.

The portions were a great size too.

I recommend coming here with a few friends, that way you can order more!

My favourite Thai restaurant in Adelaide. I love that they try new things and freshness and flavour is exceptional. I have been to this restaurant quite a few times now, and I am never disappointed.

I love Thai food and Nu Thai is one of the best Thai restaurants in Adelaide. The food is always fresh and alive with flavor. It's the only place I will go to and try something new. My partner loves the coffee duck, unusual combination but amazing taste. The owners regularly journey back to Thailand to develop new dishes. If that doesn't inspire you to try them out, nothing will ;-)

Nu Thai is a very modern looking Thai restaurant located down Gouger Street in the heart of Chinatown. Although the food there is rather expensive, the quality is outstanding, so it is well worth it. On my previous visit, I opted for the Basil Chicken (delicious), and my girlfriend was well pleased with the vegetarian drunken noodles. Something that tickled my fancy (although I didn't have the guts to try it), was the coffee duck - duck with minced prawns and sesame seeds covered with a coffee sauce.... maybe next time! Highly recommended.

Approximate cost: $20
