We were refered to Anne & David @ Oakdale by a friend, for the care of my grandad. From our first interaction Anne and David were extremely warm and caring. They talked through our options so I felt informed to make desisions during an emotional time. They were also readily available whenever I needed to talk. At no point did they try to upsell or increase costs. Most importantly they took the time to understand who my grandad was so we could tailor the personalised arrangements to create something he would have loved. They looked after him and all elements of the service and cremation in a caring and respectful way, making what was an emotional time as easy as possible.

We lost my wonderful, courageous father on 7th July this year. He had specifically requested Anne to conduct his service. Our initial thought was to engage one of the larger funeral homes and have Anne conduct the service, however we found out that Anne & David own Oakdale Funerals so we decided to secure their services. This was the best decision we made. Anne showed compassion, eye for detail, care, understanding and a very professional approach - she felt like an old friend. There was no way we would have felt that way had we engaged one of the larger funeral homes.
