We recently used Oakdale for our Mum's funeral. We wanted something very different from the usual, to capture and celebrate the life of such an extraordinary lady. Anne and David helped us with every aspect and the day was perfect. It was a celebration not a funeral. They found the perfect country setting, as well as the horse drawn wagon we wanted, as a special tribute to our Mum. Anne and David were very Kind, caring, compassionate, understanding and helpful on every level during a very tough time in our lives.

I am so glad I chose Anne and David to take care of the funeral arrangements and conduct the funeral for my beloved Mum last week. The funeral took place at Lilydale Memorial Park Chapel, and was a beautiful tribute to my Mum. Anne conducted the service beautifully; she took the time to find out what Mum was like, and it really felt like she had known Mum personally. We recently used Oakdale Funerals for the passing of my Grandfather. At his wishes, we were looking for a short and intimate ceremony with family only and Anne was able to accommodate all of our requests. We also used Anne as the celebrant and she provided a lovely service which was kind and compassionate and beautifully captured the wonderful memories we had and the person he was. Being a smaller funeral service operator, we received such a personalised service from Oakdale; Anne was always available to us for any questions or concerns we had whether it be in person, over the phone or by email. Ann and David out source such excellent people. The venue, Linley Estate , was just perfect for my husband's celebration of his life. Ann visited at home and was so helpful, flexible and kind. It is such a clever way of planning, so many things are possible. The day was perfect. Everything went to plan. Ann and David stood back, but I knew I could call on them if needed. my husband was treated with great respect as were my family and friends. Nothing was too much trouble. The afternoon tea was plentiful and delicious. There was no pressure to leave the venue. Ann stayed in contact to make sure every detail was addressed. I am so grateful I found them.
