We walked in at around 1.40pm and found plenty of empty tables yet they would only let us choose between 2 of them, we were quite squashed, certainly wasn't enough room for 4 people 2 large entree plates, drinks and then shortly after our main meals, we ended up having to place our entrees on a nearby table so we had enough room for our main meals. If they had just given us the table we wanted, it would have been a very pleasant experience. However, our meals were delicious, make sure you check out the specials menu, as the main meals are only $14.90 and a drink is included - great value.

We decided to take advantage of the Entertainment book for 'buy one get one free' main meals. The pub atmosphere is country pub style with a large central bar, a casual bar area with open fire and pool table and dining areas (including the front verandah). As we had no reservation and they were very busy we were seated in a side room which faced the main street. In winter there would have been an open fire going. We found it to be a very pleasant room and, as there were only the two of us, it was very peaceful and we were not over-hearing others' conversation. The beer prices were average. My husband chose 300g rump steak with mushroom gravy, roast potatoes and side salad. It was cooked to perfection and was 'melt in the mouth' tender. I chose Old Bush Inn Famous Sticky Pork Ribs with chips and side salad. The ribs were amazingly delicious as were the chips and the side salad did have a dressing. Both of our servings were quite large. I only just managed to finish my ribs, but I was not going to leave even a tiny portion.
The pub is really nice with a pleasant atmosphere, good service and excellent food at good prices.
The rump with sauce was $30 and the ribs were $26. We will return.

Approximate cost: $42.0

First time I came here, not great. Was not a fan and definitely did not consider coming back any time soon.
However, as things go, we were stuck for plans and this was an option so we took it. And SOOOOOO glad we did.
Had the soft shell crab salad which was AWESOME! And also the seafood platter. Wow. It was loaded and soooo filling.
Only small issue was that the fish was a little overcooked. But a trifling matter.

My friend and I needed to rest our tired feet after a big day in Willunga and knew the Old Bush Inn would be able to accommodate us with this as well as a delicious meal. They have a very comfortable dining area and quite an extensive menu. We both decided to order the schnitzel but found that 1 serve between us would have been sufficient as the serving was huge. Service was prompt and our meals were outstandingly delicious. Make sure you try their garlic bread, it is fabulous, beware the wedges as entree as the serving is huge - certainly enough for 4 people! Great service, delicious food, excellent pub.

It had been a while since my husband and I had a meal here, but last week we decided to have lunch. It's a really nice old pub, very welcoming, they have actually fixed up part of the dining area and made it more comfortable. The girl at the bar was extremely friendly and we placed or order with her. Within 10 minutes of being seated our entrees arrived. A must try is their garlic/herb bread - so fabulous. The salt and pepper squid was devine and we also ordered some wedges - expecting a small serve, well it wasn't, it was like a main meal and oh so delicious that when our mains arrived I was unable to eat even half of it. I had the chicken schnitzel with peppercorn sauce and my husband the porterhouse with creamy garlic prawns. Our meals were so delicious and the salad and chips were great, we were just unable to indulge as we filled up on our entrees. So next time we shall reduce our entrees and enjoy our main meals more. By the way, the mains are extremely large serves, especially the schnitzel - you have been warned.

A great place for lunch or dinner with extremely friendly staff. Highly recommend.

I do like this old pub in willunga, it's very welcoming and the food certainly has improved since my last visit. For an entree i tried their sticky ribs, they had a real smokey flavour and the meat just fell apart, they were awesome. I then couldn't wait to try theirchargrilled scotch fillet steak, it was one of the best medium steaks I had ever had. My friends also enjoyed their fish and chips, schnitzel and chicken burger. Their onion rings and chili cheese fries are a must try, we all shared our entrees, absolutely delicious. Great value, was not disappointed.

I use to frequent this hotel often and always found it to be great value with friendly staff. However, my most recent visit was a bit disappointing as the prices had increased so much. Our meals were great, typical pub fare, just the prices were not all that reasonable. A great place if you like the pokies or just a drink at the bar.

I will say it is a pleasant old pub to meet up with mates after a hard day and just have a couple of beers.

This is a great place to have a meal in a real Aussie atmosphere. The staff are very friendly and your meals arrive fairly quickly. They are reasonable servings which you can eat indoors or outdoors. We prefer indoors because while you are eating or awaiting your meals you can look at lots of old photo's that they have spread around the pub. They are so interesting.
While we were there, we were told a story about a ghost that some of the staff had seen. Apparently, she is a little girl and they once left a doll out for her one evening before closing up. The next day they said doll had moved. It was an interesting story and certainly gave us something to talk about. A lovely friendly pub and we have returned many times. I highly recommend.
