The worst experience with removalists I have ever had. Attempted to overcharge, tried to charge for items I was quoted as being free, was not charged per minute after the first 2 hours as quoted, noticeably slowed down throughout to extend charging time. A 1 bedroom apartment move took close to 7 hours. To provide comparison my partners move who was moving on the same day into the same property as me , with far more furniture, took 3.5 hours. They were also incredibly rude and tried to overcharge me on the final bill. Avoid!

I rang and spoke to Debbie on the phone. She was lovely and helpful and spruiked her company's transparency when it came to costs and insurance. On the day of our move, our removalists seemed not to really know what they were doing, and also arrived in a truck bearing the name of a different business. There was a lot of faffing about and I'm not really sure how our move took 7 hours.
The removalists also put a hole in the wall of the house we were moving out of. Despite my housemate seeing it happen, they pled ignorance when I asked about it. There was even a sticker on the damage that made it look like they had tried to conceal it. I asked them what I should do and they said to take it up with head office.
At our new house, we had issues with the meter box and had no electricity. The removalists asked me to sign for payment, which I did... in a dim hallway. Despite me having asked about the damage to the wall, the removalists had noted on the page that there was no damage caused by them. They did not tell me about this. I had to request a copy from the office to find out.
When I rang to lodge my insurance claim, Debbie again was lovely. Unfortunately, the girl who works in claims was supremely rude and unhelpful. She informed me that they would not honour our insurance claim, since we could have been the ones to damage the wall. This makes NO sense, given their policy that clients need to claim damage within 72 hours after the move. Why 72 hours if you're then going to say that the clients could have done it? They offered to pay a small sum as a gesture of goodwill, however, it was around 1/7 of the total cost of the damage.
The whole reason I went with this company was that I wanted good insurance - just in case. It cost me a LOT more than expected - in terms of the move AND my lost bond. In the end, I probably should have just used AirTasker.
Disappointing, stressful and expensive.

My move included 10 paintings that had to be packed up and wrapped before the move. The day before the company sent two guys to wrap up each painting and put them in boxes so the move next day can be easier. The workers also packed up the paintings in the truck safely that they got to our new place without any damages.

The storage job I hired then for was completed when they dropped off my items after four months. They moved the items into my refurbished sitting area and bedroom all within two hours.

I did my own packing and got most of my items into boxes that numbered 30 for the move. I just additionally bed and base and a couch . The movers got all these items moved in two hours that was better than expected.

The truck came right up to our door and the workers started without any delay. They kept their distance too and finished the job by minimising contact as much as possible.

The movers were good at the job and were professional. They came on time and got the work done without any delay keeping the clock for the right time as I estimated.

Good work down by Linus and John getting my two couches through a tight door. That was a fear I had that they resolved well.
