Have eaten at Oscar's quite a few times, but only ever for lunch. Have always found the meals to be taste great and the staff are friendly and very helpful. It can get a bit squashy and also a little pricey for what you get.

This was one of the first restaurants I visited when my now husband was trying to convince me to make the move to Ballarat and I must say it set the standard pretty high for the town but I was impressed and it made my "pros" list. I love the chicken parmagiana, the atmosphere, the cakes. It is all lovely.

I have only been to Oscar's at lunchtime on busy weekends but it always seems quite loud inside (not so good for conversation). It can be a bit tricky to get a table on weekends, even for just two diners.

We've often eaten here, and they cater well for large bookings. Meals can be a bit pricey for what you get, but it is still a nice place to have meals with friends. They also cater well for kids, and a welcoming to kids.

Oscars really do it well, the food is great, from the steaks to the corned beef. It's a beautiful spot and If there is a problem the fantastic staff are there in a flash to fix it. Also check out the 13 awesome room they also have to offer guests.

We have dined here on many occasions and have never been disappointed. They serve good quality Australian dishes. We often go here if have friends in town and there is something on the menu for everyone. You won't find the most exotic dishes in the world here but it is a good, smart reliable dinning venue.
