Love this place to get breakfast or lunch. each day of the week has certain foods ready for take-away (eg chicken pie, lasagne, veggie pie etc) for variety. The chicken pie is my favourite and it is seriously delicious. Servings are generous and service is fast and friendly.

Chicken pie sounds great. I'll have to try it.

Great for all lunch food, have a large variety of hot food and a really good sandwich bar. Good value for money.
Portion size is very large portion size.
Can be very busy at lunch time but line will move quickly. Also has a large heated outside area and inside seating area.

Great selection of fillings for sandwiches. Most staff are friendly, although there are a few not so friendly at times I find. Prices are reasonable and you get a decent size for what you pay. The only downside is I find the hot food extremely average. I'll only go here for a sandwich.

I've eaten here a few times, from sandwiches to hot chips. The hot chips hit the spot. Sandwiches on the other hand, I've had good and average. Staff are friendly, however it can be a bit chaotic when it's busy at lunch.

Great spot for a lunch or breakfast, you always get great amount of fillings and big serves of the lasange. Friendly people behind the counter and always say hello even when its busy around the lunch hour.

I sometimes go past this cafe in the morning for breakfast on the way to work. The staff are super friendly and quite often remember your regular order even if you've not been in for a while.

I particularly like their toast and hot chocolate combo. The hot chocolate is one of the best I've tasted and the price is hard to beat.

This is a cafe I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a regular breakfast or lunch spot.

Approximate cost: $10.00

Good spot for a bit of lunch and staff are always friendly. Big range of food on offer however I always tend to order sandwiches as I have been disappointed with the hot food in the past.

Approximate cost: $10

Great little lunch spot for a lot or workers in the Flinders Lane/Queen St area. Very busy little place but with lots of staff, you never have to wait long to be served. A great range of hot foods and fresh salads/sandwiches. Always many people here eating which is a great sign of good food. Excellent value for money as they always give ample fillings etc.

The Overdraft cafe is a staple for a lot of office workers in Flinders Lane. Its got the usual chips, potato cakes, Sth Melbourne Dim Sums etc but its also got other things such as Lasagne, homemade beef and burgundy pies etc, and its all damn tasty. Service is top-notch. There's lots of staff and they are all friendly and efficient. Coffee is good and there is outdoor seating as well.
