I did the yum cha, it was mostly fried options so was very disappointed. Some items were made to order but pricey for one serve. I wouldn't go back for yum cha. Eating in for dinner is pretty good though and a lot cheaper.

Don't mind plumes, though they are a bit more expensive compared to other yum cha places. It's always a toss up between here and gold leaf in sunshine when we are looking for our yum cha fix. What I like about plumes is that it's next to highpoint so can be a reward or energy for your shopping trip. Food is alway good, service is quick, and the place is always bustling on the weekend.

We have been coming here for years now and it is probably the best yum cha in the west side that I have been to. Service is quick and efficient, though the ladies bringing around trolleys of food don't speak a stitch of Engiish are always friendly. Prices are good value, and dishes taste great. They have a variety of different dishes to choose from, mine being the prawn dumplings and battered crab claw. Place can get quite busy on weekends during lunch time.

Went here for yumcha growing up and recently went back with my family. I guess because it was a weekday, it was much more quiet and not as rowdy as it would have been if it was the weekend. My mother told me that the waitresses pushing the carts of food around get in trouble if they don't serve all the dishes on their cart. I suppose this is why we ended up having several dishes almost forced upon us by these waitresses. I've never actually had this happen on weekends. Although we were verbally saying no and shaking our heads and hands, the waitress still placed the dish on the table which eventually led to my mum saying yes so they would leave. I guess if you don't want unwanted dishes forced upon you, don't go on a weekday.

I have been to Plumes Doncaster many times.

This time we thought we would try this one at Maribyrnong as we were out shopping at Highpoint Shopping Centre located close to the restaurant.

Went there for yum cha with friends and family last weekend. Prices are reasonable and wide varieties of dishes to choose from. The service was very friendly and efficient. The waitress recommended steamed eel and I love it.

Yum-cha was delicious. We've been here a few times and we always keep coming back. The service is courteous and the environment is perfect for a family or a couple. I'm glad it's close by!

I just love yum cha here. They have all the old favourites plus some unique dishes. The service is good, you'e never long without a trolley coming along.

Great food and great service. Always really busy which can only be a good sign. They don't offer EFTPOS which can be a hassle

Quality - The quality of the food is quite decent
Service - Customer Service is average, some staff has limited english.
Value - It's a bit expensive, the reason why I said this is, the food looks nice and neat, but the taste of the food can be better.
Overall- It's a decent restaurant, hygiene is alright as well. Don't offer as much as other yum cha restaurant. Can be quite busy, better to come early or make reservation.
